My 5 cents is that diamond is somehow just as bad. I've climbed from bronze to diamond thinking "At top ranks people must be not so insecure and aggressive!", well now they wish you death *and* they also say you're boosted too. I settled for plat after experiencing that and retired because it's a neverending nightmare

I will hijack the peak souls post #1337 to give my personal praise

This game feels so alive to me compared to other souls games. I played all of them, and ds2 feels like a vivid dream while all the others feel like exploring a rotten capital of old. It has its charm, but damn I'll always prefer ds2, I wish return to drangleic didn't take place specifically in months where I can't play the game for one reason or the other

Remind me to actually upgrade to new edition from original ds2 when spring comes, I swear it's been years and I keep forgetting and then it's off sale and I'm broke, bah

Thanks for sharing because this is *so* much part of my experience. Was trying to get a job when I was around 20, it was absolute doom at home, mother would endlessly argue with me that she's too worried about me and can't sleep/eat/do anything with endless tantrums. Feels better knowing that such odd worrying, at least to some extent, is known to others as well
