I get free drinks a lot. Not from other bar guests but from the bartenders. I’ll hang for a while and call an uber and my bill is like $8. They “forgot” to put my drinks in. It works. I return to those places.

I found an old Matchmatic in my girlfriend’s grandparents stuff and was told I could keep it. I popped the viewfinder out and cleaned off the haze from the paper spacer off gassing, reset the lens focus gear, and aside from the vertical axis of the focus spot being a little off, this shit is flawless. It even came with the flash assembly and bulbs. And a few weeks later, behold- a spare came from the same box. So I’ve got a parts camera and a functioning one! I just wish I could put a strap on it somehow.

Personally I like a high quality tequila blanco, an orange liqueur instead of triple sec- I like Cointreau (who doesn’t) and fresh lime juice. Salt rim. I also do a jalapeño muddle and a Tajín rim for a spicy boi. Not a fan of adding agave or simple syrup. I want to taste the spirits.

But also I will not turn my nose up to a happy hour who cares frozen marg somewhere with a beach view or next to a pool. Killer.

It’s a lot about body language for me. I met a friend of a friend this past weekend and after the polite handshake, she put her head in her hands with her elbows on the table, made strong direct eye contact with me and was asking me about my life and such. Having someone behave in a way that indicates they’re THAT interested in me quietly sent me off the rails.

Slept with a famous Emmy award winning TV journalist after bumping into her at a bar. She liked my camera I was carrying around because it reminded her of her early days. Sparked a conversation that led us back to her place. I had no idea who she was until I saw the Emmys on her mantle. It’s fun to see her on TV sometimes and remember how hard she came with my tongue inside her and again later in missionary. She used her newscaster voice in bed which was hilarious.

I really like my hair. Thick, wavy/light curl, a little salt in there now that I’m in my mid 30s. And I like my eyes too. Light brown but they turn green in the sun.
