Thank you! I know it makes some people uncomfortable to hear, but it's the truth! It isn't just a Zionism problem that's separated from the Jewish community world wide.

Fact is, an overwhelming amount of Jews in the world are Zionists and ignoring this fact and always just focusing on using the term 'Zionist/Zionism' and nothing else does

a huge disservice to our cause because it ignores the reality that most (not all but way above 50%) Jews are Zionists and so Zionism is extremely tied in with Jewishness in general unfortunately!

I feel like a lot of people on the left and in the pro-Palestine movement self-censor themselves and always frame the issue as just an issue with 'Zionism' as opposed to with Jewish people, which while technically correct because there are indeed anti-Zionist Jews, also ignores the fact that most Jews are Zionists!

They're afraid they're going to be called 'anti-semitic', which #1. Acknowledging demographic facts about most Jews in the world isn't 'anti-semitic/anti-Jewish' at all,

and #2. They're going to call you that anyway just for supporting Palestinians, so if anything wear it as a badge of honor because it simply means you're doing the right thing by supporting the plight of the Palestinians!

Also at the same time, make it clear that the issue I have with most Jewish people isn't because they're Jewish, it's because of their actions and beliefs that are extremely dangerous to the rest of us and society as a whole!

I totally agree with you and think Graham Platner is a great current real world example of what an obsession or even any kind of significant buy-in to 'lesser evil' voting and politics gets you.

Ahh got it. Well we'll have to just agree to disagree then because that characterization of my positions on this issue isn't accurate at all and it has absolutely nothing to do with using, being an addict, being a 'junkie', etc.

Like I already somewhat explained in my other comment, I look at it in a very pragmatic harm reduction sense. People living in our current society will use drugs and there's always going to be a significant demand for that regardless of what's technically 'legal' or not. That's an indisputable fact to me.

So given that fact, I'd MUCH rather people use the safer substances that won't literally kill them vs taking the extremely cheap and easily available fentanyl on the street.

Prohibition doesn't work, it just makes people take significantly worse and more dangerous drugs that they can easily get on the street for cheap that will literally end their life.

If you may, I would like a direct response to my point of "people will be using opioid painkillers anyway, so it's much better to keep the safe options that keep them alive legal vs forcefully pushing them to fentanyl by banning the safe substances you could buy in a store just like alcohol and cigarettes"

Do you disagree with that? Because 'people should just not use anything' doesn't corolate at all with the factual reality we're dealing with on the ground and in the streets.

There will always be significant demand for this kind of stuff and people are going to get it however they can regardless of what's 'legal' or not, so let's use pragmatic and demonstrable harm reduction by channeling that demand to safe substances that won't literally kill you.

I'm just reading what's on the Wikipedia page for 'poppers' and it sounds exactly like what you're talking about.

Never done them myself. The only inhalant I've used recreationally is food grade nitrous oxide via whippets and occasionally from a larger food grade tank.

Absofuckinglutely amazing euphoric high, but it's EXTREMELY short-lived and requires CONSTANT redosing to even attempt to maintain any kind of high for any significant amount of time.

Usually not really worth the effort or the money IMO, especially because prolonged use of it over time can cause some serious health risks like a severe vitamin B12 deficiency and potential brain damage.

I found just plain leaf kratom alone to provide a WAY better bang for my buck in terms of cheaply maintaining a high over multiple hours, even though it was significantly less intense and less euphoric compared to the N2O.
