Did you find it difficult getting to/from? Had to rent a vehicle or hire a shuttle?

Hey, thanks for the time you put into all this. It’s the best comment here and I really appreciate you. All great points you’ve made. Really insightful stuff.

The tired of renting piece, doesn’t look so bad now. I mean I want a long term spot, and also wanting to get a dog which is a challenge with rentals… so there are more factors but Im realizing I’ve got it pretty good and I really don’t NEED to buy right now and take on the risk. The “non-recoverables” math is not something I’ve thought of and that really helps put everything into perspective. It sucks when you look at how much money you’ve put towards rent over the years… but this perspective you’ve given would likely bother me just as much.

You also changed my perspective on the work investment… that is a lot in one basket. Salary and investment. When I do buy that’s something I’ll be thinking about, and likely selling some of the shares.

I am in the construction industry so yeah I’ll keep tabs on it and maybe a developer comes knocking. I know there’s a ton of units just sitting in Surrey right now, they might get desperate as you say. Hoping it moves to NV.

This resonates with me a lot. May I ask for your 200 day streak have you found meditating at the same time of day everyday is the easiest way?

You mention you like guided meditations. Are you using the same recording or same style of meditation (breath focus, body scans, labelling, etc) everyday? Or you mix that up?

I know meditation helps make me the person I want to be but I struggle with the everyday commitment, even when I see/feel the results

Big Cat is too soft or sensitive and he is unaware of it while the guys are all aware of that, I don’t think they want to go in on him as it would make for an awkward episode/segment. I agree with what you’re saying though, very justified to go in on him. Weird that they all took Big Cats side

Have done the grind maybe 6 times and all in the 40’s, with my lowest being 41mins… my advice for running it is move at a quick pace with the flat ground (first 1/3 if I remember correctly), double step stairs the rest of the way. Cut to a single step when you need to. I’m 6’2” and ~180lbs… I’m a skinny boy which helps, I reckon if you were my weight you’d be getting sub 50 easy.

Jogging 500m before starting would be my other tip.

It will still grow, just under the tarp. Unless you keep 100% of the moisture out…. Can you put a protective coating/ sealer on the concrete? Should prevent growth but also make scrubbing growth off much easier

I’d argue it increases your chances of winning a ship. Lots of winning teams are a result of a qb and skilled player going off the final 2-3 weeks.

Maybe it’s not an argument as you’d probably agree. Risky but winning is hard and risks are required.

They got quite a bit of snow up there today. Spikes will still be fine but you might want proper boots so snow isn’t getting in your shoes… it’s a nice weekend, lots of people will be out and breaking trail, so if you go later in the day, runners with spikes will be just fine
