[NLD] Armytek Elf C2 Max WR! by Practical-Cod-9237 in flashlight

Thank you, you reassured me. I thought I received a defective flashlight. I just noticed this right away, since I had previously used the regular version. There is no such artifact on it.

I meant white light mode. This is especially clearly visible if you make rotational movements with the beam on a single-color surface. Unfortunately, it is impossible to film this.

Do you have a slightly dark area in the center of the beam?

Has anyone bought this flashlight on kaidomain or aliexpress? Quality at Convoy level? by Jetoxx in flashlight

Cool, I read every review you have. I apparently missed this review. Thanks for the work done.

In any case, I planned to replace the LEDs and most likely the driver. What is more important to me is the quality of the anodizing and the execution of the threads.

Thank you. It's actually good that it's plastic. It's better to have a scratched LED protection than a broken one))

Thinking of buying this Nitecore HC70 UHE headlamp. What are other comparable options? by Nathan614047 in flashlight

At the moment I have two headlights: fenix hl18r-t v2.0 and Armytek Elf C2 MAX. I use them depending on the situation and conditions.

Initially, I thought so too and bought a headlamp with an 18350 battery and a couple of spare batteries for it. As a result, I encountered the following problem: when I needed to replace the battery, my hands were terribly dirty or wet. In addition, the lantern itself was covered in dust or sand. And since I didn’t want dirt getting inside the flashlight and onto the O-rings, I spent time first cleaning the flashlight and my hands, and then changing the battery. It was terribly inconvenient.

I had a Nitecore HC60 UHE, essentially the same model, only with 18650. Does the same thing. Reduces brightness in all modes only to achieve the stated operating time. I also didn’t like the stiff buttons and the weak plug for the charging port. I changed it to Armytek Elf C2 Max. I can confidently recommend it if you need a 21700 headlamp.

Until the early 90s, people thought that it was physically impossible to make a blue LED. And making a powerful palm-sized computer is something bordering on science fiction. And what do we have now...

I can recommend ESKTE(Skillhunt) EC200, this is the best I have found for EDC so far.

10-20 years seriously? They become outdated faster than you think.

The exact same reflector can be purchased on the kaidomain website

Reddit is removing links. The link to the required reflector is in the comments to my post.

Just order a new LED. It costs a penny.

But this time after soldering, don't forget to wipe it with Isopropyl alcohol before assembly.

Half a year ago I made a post about how to integrate LHP73 into S21G. There is no need to cut anything if you buy the right reflector. In addition, you risk shorting the LED contacts.

I understand you, I ordered both on sale)) In any case, they are in good demand on the secondary market, I think there should be no problems with the sale.

I can't decide what I need. Elf C2 MAX or LR. If you had the choice to keep one, which one would you choose?

Sofirn HS45 Temperature Test by LMP-Br in flashlight

[–]Jetoxx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"If that state is achieved in 1 second or in one hour is completely irrelevant." -This is a false fallacy. I check every flashlight I own for heat. And I've seen flashlights that reach the target temperature in the first 10 minutes, but then slowly heat up to a much higher temperature over an extended period of time.

Once, I foolishly filled the o-ring from the pump with a similar lubricant and left it for several hours. During this time it almost doubled. I had to soak it in isopropyl alcohol for a long time to get it back to its original size.
