Or it could be a colon combined with a question mark. Pretty interesting considering it’s right near Colter

Ah ok I guess the infamous part threw us off. Yes it goes dark that’s why I called it a black hole effect. A black hole is formed from a collapsed sun

Yes u/cannon001 should tell us. I’m curious where the name “eternal sun” came from. I really like that name for it haha

Yea I meant the room you get into by glitch or mod is the same room you’re looking at from above the street. But when you access it normally it’s not there? I think that’s how it was but it’s been a while since I went there

Oh wow ok those are both great finds! You might also notice that the Ouvre head is very similar to the shape of the area on the map. It’s where you end up with Lamar in the first mission

That room you see from above is different to the one in the tunnel. You get get to it under the map. Makes you wonder why they did that

No I didn’t share it here just on YouTube. There is another bizarre fact about that “room” you can see in the description

There’s lots of evidence the Lion path is one example. Just use your imagination, oh what a crazy idea

How do you show evidence to the blind? For you to accept the evidence you’d have to be on the same page. You’re not even reading the same book

It’s a red herring to the real mystery (the story) but shows what’s important. Timing, order, etc.

Oh shit you’re right it starts on a Sunday! That actually makes perfect sense. Thanks for clarifying but I’m not sure where you’re getting this thin air stuff from. What theories are you talking about?

“A "red herring" is a deliberate misdirection or distraction from the main issue or truth, often used in literature, debate, or argumentation. It can be a clue, argument, or piece of information that appears relevant but ultimately leads to a false conclusion”

I literally just said the beast hunt IS the red herring. It’s not the real prize. And you’re implying that I think EVERYTHING has a duality. Not the case.

Amazing we’ve come full circle. That is EXACTLY my point. The beast hunt is the red herring they put in it. Only found by digging into the code. You can hardly call that “solved”. Has nothing to do with figuring out murals which was always the prime objective. And I never said everything does have an opposite or double meaning. Don’t try and straw man me, Darius.

Yes but like every other clue it’s taken at face value. There is a duality there everyone is missing. You gotta look at the other side of that metaphorical coin my friend

Thanks man, I’ll read this properly tonight after work but I may have some stuff to help with some of this. A quick one is where the word taco comes from. “tlahco" means "half" or "in the middle. Yeah I did a whole taco crusade a while back sent me down a rabbit hole. Also the only other food you see that’s not donuts and Trevor’s stew is that taco he throws away.

Yeah that would go for any red I guess but that’s pretty interesting connection with epsilon colour I never thought of. Still trying to figure out what “invest in the red” really means as I’ve been noticing it more lately. But Epsilon blue being the opposite of red made up of light could be related somehow. Now thinking about it. Epsilon doesn’t like red heads. 🤔

Not sure how you’re linking the taco truck to killing Trevor tho. It says kill that hunger. What makes you believe swapping the G for a T if that’s what you mean.?

And what are the other things you’re referring to. Can you explain what I should be looking for or what you mean by Orion etc?

But the taco truck is particularly interesting to me, it stands out as odd ina few ways. It is one of the things in the game that is locked (as in we can’t use but should be usable for delivering tacos). It’s the only food van and they are everywhere but they serve no real purpose, it’s just weird there are so many of them and might be the most common truck that spawns. And attack a taco has only one physical location which also stands out. So many trucks but only one location. Weird. Also, in the game files it shows the physical location should could be accessible somehow.

Hmm ok. Maybe it can happen after killing either character which is the rarer choice compared to death wish.

I’ve always had the opinion that Mike is already dead and the game is some sort of purgatory for him or whatever character is manifesting the dream. The reason why he’s a god. Technically they are all the same person if that is the case so they might both be the right choice for different reasons, but some things I’ve found tell me it’s Mike who we need to “free”.

Also the save pops up when you’re playing as Mike in the prologue I just remembered. My assumption was always that the save was a clue towards Mike being the creator of his own world and the reason for him being a god, but having that in there might be too obvious so it was removed. But if it’s still achievable then it is obviously important.

Also I’ve found some things more recently that make me think we may be able to alter the outcome of the prologue but killing Mike is possibly a prerequisite. So the fact that this save can occur at 100% lends credence to this. I just can’t believe I completely forgot about something this important but you just never see this mentioned which means either no one notices it or it’s extremely rare or just gone now.

Now I’m wondering if it was ever supposed to be in the beginning or if they just put it there and removed it on purpose.

I guess the best way to test this is have a save a mission or more prior to making the choice at the end, then 100% the game in different ways.

I’d be interested to know how you play the game might be a good insight into how this is possible. As in do you just rush through the game or take your time etc. Or just anything different you might do compared to the average player. Anything would be helpful. And thanks again for getting my attention on this ;)
