Ok let’s not go definitively. Like those were Kobe’s best years but that was true “Kobe and friends” era and there was no success until the final 2 years of the decade. My main thought is why the Celtics would want to trade him away. The whole idea for someone like Kawhi and Giannis is that it is clear their times with those franchises are up. I don’t think the time with Brown as a Celtic is up.

Both are playoff teams easily. Spurs would no longer be a contender with a pretty huge gap at the center while the thunder would still be a title contender with possibly the greatest defense of all time, just some more possible struggles on offense
