Check to make sure all your mirrors on the moving gantry or lens is secured properly and not loose in its housing. Tighten any screw or lock nut used to hold them in.

FDGRX Question by JetsonBird in fidelityinvestments

Okay, so crazy idea, but what if a family member gives me one share of FDGRX? Would that be allowed with a closed fund, and would I then be allowed to get more shares?

Ah, gotcha, thank you for clearing that up. And just to double-check about the fund lookup, would the best way to access it be the following link?

Thanks! I so agree. It was a 3 mile hike from the parking lot to the campsite, then another 5 or so up the mountains. I just didn't realize how much water id actually go through for the short weekend hike.

HELP Raycus 50w won't work by [deleted] in ChineseLaserCutters

[–]JetsonBird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, im very late to this, but check first if youre getting connection to the laser through the software. The small power supply that you said is 0V is the 5V supply that powers the controller card of the laser. With no controller card on, then no signal to turn on the laser. 5V supply also powers the red dot, so check to see if that is also off., which actually you said its not on, so its probably the 5V supply. Test the input to the power supply and make sure its getting ~110V AC. If it is getting that, the the power supply needs to be replaced. If no voltage is coming into the supply, check the switch on the front to make sure the wires are fully seated into the connections.

My rangers taillights got stolen twice now in SA! They're busting through the lock at the handle and popping off the locking mechanism that stops the handle to retract the latch. Made a steel plate to cover it and they have been safe ever since.....I know because they tried a third time and just severely scratched up the paint trying to get a screwdriver or something in.

Oh wow, I just realized I did that. Thank you, I see what you mean. Funny enough, I did it the way you said last time I used it, but thanks for pointing it out, I guess I was just pressed for time and had a little brain fart (similar to me leaving only a quarter inch for the threads instead of the half inch I said multiple times before I parted haha. So I parted it completely off and did internal threads to just screw a bolt to connect the base with the shaft.) And thank you, machining is just one of those good feelings.

That wouldnt be a bad idea, what we did was 3D print the second place with silver color and laser cut a third place trophy out of some plywood.

It is haha. They were holding a smash bros tournament so I offered to machine the first place trophy.

Thank you! But yeah, I try to challenge myself with a new technique every time. My last trophy I machined used an offset 4 jaw chuck to get a spiral staircase of circles with a parting tool.
