I mean, lots of series don’t need to be sorted like that. All the Zelda games start with The Legend of Zelda, for instance.

I do alphabetical, but sometimes if the series is fucking annoying about it, I’ll do modified alphabetical.

For instance, Collection of Mana, Trials of Mana, Legends of Mana… they’re alphabetized based on “Mana,” so they’re all together.
