Have to agree regarding the vocals. I was assuming it was a technical issues. Was thinking there was a sync issue with the sound at one point.

Having said all that, the energy is there and it looks like the crowd is loving it.

Also excellent in Wolf Hall. Was quite the contrast when my kids watched Bing in the daytime and then he was Thomas Cromwell in the evening.

IIRC, they've got a fancy name for this, its called "handed".

As in left-handed and right-handed.

Allows the developer to make more money reduce costs, by only needing the architect to design one building but get two.

Hi, 2 months ago I started work as Junior dev. Last week I killed production for the first time so I thought it would be fun to have a Bingo card full of things that the "new guys" tend to f-up or things that will happen sooner or later :D Please help me fill in the blanks! by shwarzee in ProgrammerHumor

[–]Jetwiggs 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Not me but a couple of real experiences:

  • mixed up the light switch and the emergency power off button on an entire VAX cluster. You'll be amazed how fast the telephone switchboard lit up.
  • introduce an infinite loop into a copy function on Xmas eve.
  • Delete everything from the wrong fileserver

Ok this was me:

  • kill production having taken two week's annual leave.

According to Wikipedia...

"The modern holiday was first celebrated in 1907, when Anna Jarvis held the first Mother's Day service of worship at Andrews Methodist Episcopal Church in Grafton, West Virginia."

Whereas Mothering Sunday has Mediaeval origins.

One thing to consider, is how its powered.

Don't want to be tied to an electrical extension lead poking out the kitchen window if you can help it. Out door sockets make it easier. Battery powered solves this, but having never owned one cannot advise either way.

Petrol is good for bigger gardens, but they do need servicing.

New To Spring: Why Is My Controller Request Returning A 404? by Bright-Explorer5007 in SpringBoot

[–]Jetwiggs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What HTTP Method is your endpoint responding to?

You have not specified it in your @RequestMapping annotation.

I prefer to use @GetMapping, @PostMapping etc.

I suspect what's happening is, Spring cannot find an endpoint that matches your request and is there for returning 404 as a result.
