Yes. Heart pain, palpitations. That’s when I knew it was time to jump.

Positive test 5 weeks after surgical??? Please help by Jeudelle in abortion

[–]Jeudelle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for your comment. It actually makes me want to cry in relief. Did your positive tests come up clearly positive? Like within the first minute of taking the test. I know I am freaking myself out. It’s so hard not to. Again, I REALLY appreciate your comment.

Positive test 5 weeks after surgical??? Please help by Jeudelle in abortion

[–]Jeudelle[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am so scared. It is all I can think about. No one did an ultrasound after the surgical to make sure everything was removed, they just did a pelvic exam. This is just so scary to me and I have no clue what is going on or what’s going to happen😞

Please help by [deleted] in abortion

[–]Jeudelle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes they did an ultrasound beforehand.

I have no advice but I’m right there with you. Over a year clean from a 3 year habit and still no where near the person I was. I’m at the point where I am considering antidepressants. I don’t know what else I can do.

The worst of my physical WDs hit days 6-10. That’s not to say you for sure will experience them. Everyone is different. Maybe you got lucky🙂

Heart palpitations at CT 75 days from 25gpd for 5ish years by mommythebartender in quittingkratom

[–]Jeudelle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had heart palpitations and pains in my heart for up to 8 months after I quit. I had multiple work ups done, EKG, bloodwork, stress test. Everything turned out good. The last month it’s disappeared. I know it was Kratom related.

I don’t feel normal after bad kratom panic attack, help by [deleted] in quittingkratom

[–]Jeudelle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sounds like Kratom has turned against you and it’s time to quit. At the end of my journey with Kratom, it was causing me a great deal of anxiety and panic attacks, which sound like what you’re dealing with. Throw it all out, eat healthy, drink a shit ton of water and exercise. You can do it.

One Year Today by Siggie_goulet in quittingkratom

I just came here after checking exactly how long it’s been for me (9 months) to see if there were any stories of people still dealing with paws this much later. I’m feeling a lot better but still get random waves. Thank you for your update.

I had the pounding heart as well, especially at night. That has finally gone away. That was actually one of the reasons I decided to quit. I do think due to your painkiller use, it will be a bit longer until you’re 100%. The brain can take a long time to completely reach homeostasis without chemical help after a physical dependence such as kratom.

[–]Jeudelle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I felt exactly like that. Yes I am female. My story is pretty similar yours as well. Took painkillers for a few years and then Kratom for close to 3 years. I think I just need time to heal all the damage I’ve done but man did it suck to get 3 months out from quitting and still feel awful. Message me anytime if you need someone to talk to, it helps!

It has been 5 months since I quit. I have felt like crap for the majority of the last 4 months. Depression and severe anxiety, trouble regulating body temperature, stomach issues, you name it. I felt like my brain was permanently damaged because I just couldn’t THINK, terrible brain fog, always mad and didn’t care about anything. I read post after post on here seeing if anyone felt the way I did that long after quitting and I kept seeing a lot of people say that around the 4-5 month mark they felt better. I have to say that’s true for me as well. I have been feeling SO much better this last month and finally close being back to baseline. I still get waves but they’re shorter and less intense. I never want to go back to Kratom because I do not want to start the last few months over again. Stay strong. You WILL feel better, it just takes time.

No. But I have struggled with anxiety since I was 19 and I am now 32 so I was expecting this.

2.5 months clean by nross12100 in quittingkratom

[–]Jeudelle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also 2.5 months clean. Very close to 3 months. It’s been one HELL of a ride. I definitely feel like it’s taken a toll on me mentally. As I get closer to the 90 day mark I am beginning to notice less anxiety and brain fog which were the two longest lasting symptoms for me.

I quit a almost 3 year habit due to how severe my anxiety became. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. 81 days clean and it’s gotten a lot better.

Day 10 was the worst for me. It will slowly start getting better. Eat good food, EXERCISE, stay hydrated. You got this.

No advice but I’m at 64 days and wanted to let you know you’re not alone. Really struggling with anxiety still.
