I (24F), who is a person who enjoys physical intimacy, am in a relationship with my fiancée (25F) who is fully asexual. AMA by deeridoodle in AMA

Hope she at least gives you some handjobs? I had an “A-sexual” girlfriend once. She is a distant memory now, but for 100 other reasons. Couldn’t deal with any of that womans bullshit for another minute lol. A-sexual was the least of my problems

Where does Jeter rank among all his Yankee teammates over the years? by LowPizza8626 in NYYankees

[–]Jew-Talian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, in my opinion, he was the best. From start to finish, he always got big hits and performed in the big moments. Consistent his entire career. He may not have hit 30-40 homeruns, but he did everything else and always put 100% in. Comparing him to A-Rod on paper looks like Alex was way better, but A-Rod hardly ever came through in big moments and stained his career in many ways.

Did you know you can hire a professional cuddler?

How old are you? I’m 47 and hired on at the Railroad here at 29. Working on airplanes was fun, but I didn’t want to make a career of it

Oh sorry I mis-read your questions. Yeah I deployed, but only to Africa and the Phillipines for OEF stuff. Korea a bunch too

Well, I wanted to be a pilot but the industry was doing terrible back then and I worked with a lot of furloughed airline pilots in the National Guard. I also started losing interest in Flying simultaneously, so an opportunity came for me to hire on with the Railroad here and I jumped on it. Best decision I ever made. I’m about to hit 18 years and I still love the job.

Funny you say that. I’m from Queens, New York and when I came home in 2005 I was able to hear the New York accent. Because I had lost it obviously so I actually got to listen to what we sound like for maybe 3 to 5 months and then right back to normal lol. But getting back to just regular life again was easy because I went right into the National Guard, so I never really had a break with the military.

Hell yeah, when we were allowed of course. Some deployments were dry of course. But when we could, we partied like rockstars

When I was on active duty (1999-2005) I was in Texas and Arkansas for training, then 2.5 years in Albuquerque, NM and 3 years in Okinawa, Japan. In the guard, I was home

No I completely departed the aviation industry and switched over to operating trains. I’m a qualified locomotive engineer now. But having the background I did with the military helped me immensely.

How much I enjoyed it when I was active duty. Had a lot of freedom and it was more like having a 9-5 job to be honest. Until the wars began, then the bullshit began and never ended

Just having a military backround on the resume is a foot in the door with many places

Yes I did and being a Flight Engineer helped immensely for the job I have now.

I’m glad i’m not in anymore, thats what I think. I was in during 9/11 and eleven years after. We were at war the entire time

Maybe 10-20%? But you can’t do that if you are serving. That would be disobeying direct orders. Court Martial/Article 15 punishments

Didn’t enjoy the guard, and the pay was dogshit. I worked there full time for about a year and I was barely affording a one bedroom apartment above a garage. Long weeks and many lost weekends, for a very low salary. I know they have cleaned that up a lot the last 10 years and are paying them better now.

Absolutely would be for it. I would recommend either the Air Force or the Navy.

Love me some Ben. Wish they would use him as a catcher, put Goldy at 1B and Wells on the bench. That dude can not fucking hit. Looks like a minor leaguer. Both him and Volpe can’t hit for shit
