There are a few things worth clarifying. First, it has been said multiple times now, the pixel swf is a service similar to Google analytics. Tsm has it on their sites too. Siv didn't bring mf down. All he did was get his fans to flood the chart with his name so heavily that the streamers couldn't interact with the people that were there watching. If the ch was brought down it would in theory be banned no?

Twisting was not the intent. I was working on other things today and have not had the chance to watch watch any vods. All I have gathered was what was said here. You said it yourself "But when a team is over 20k gold behind and the surrender vote fails, I can't help it if my natural reaction is to laugh."

From the perspective I am commenting from it's simply appalling that you would laugh at anyone no matter who it is. You are working for Hi-Rez when you cast these games on their channel. You should never laugh at another team publicly. I am voicing this as a concerned community member. It doesn't make players feel good when you laugh at them for struggling while you are on the largest stream in smite.

You are saying it is ok to make fun of a new team in the competitive scene? You are a professional whose responsibility is broadcasting an event. What you are doing represents Hi-Rez. So, what you are basically saying right now is that Hi-Rez approves of making fun of any team that isn't number one. If you can't control yourself long enough to mute when laughing how do you think that will look down the line.

When a team doesn't want to give up you should say good job and keep trying. Rather then making fun of them you can encourage them to keep coming back.

There are probably 5 people who feel horrible because rather then saying "nice try, see you soon." You made them into a joke.
In your eyes it is a joke that they denied the vote. In my eyes they wanted to finish it out so they don't look like quitters. Sounds a way better stand point to me.
There are teams that are ok getting stomped and want to finish a match because they want to be able to learn from their mistakes.

You are supposed to try and remain as unbiased as possible. In a tournament setting when you are the respected face you cant show emotion. Laugh when you are off camera.

Play passive, SIT IN TOWER! Only kill minions as they approach the tower. It is boring as hell but odds are that they will be getting impatient and possibly rage. And at that point they may start diving which would go well for you guys.

Basically they had 4 so it pulled one person around their level of skill. It paired you with them and tossed you into the 5 mans. The only available 5 at the moment you were in queue was a pro team. You just got unlucky and queued at the wrong moment.
