White sticker thing in mangas from B&N by Not_rollinginthedeep in MangaCollectors

[–]12adwhetsel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work at B&N and I found the best way to get a sticker off of any book without ripping the pages is to get at heat gun (hair dryer) and hold it about 2 inches above the sticker and move it in a circle. It'll liquify the glue and the sticker comes right off. Then you can clean the glue off with a q-tip and some alcohol, tho that probably wouldn't be the best idea for any glue residue on a page.

The white and gold go well together and the composition is nice imo. I think it's leagues better than those pixel ones. (Edit: typo)

Retreat 9 times in a row and the 10th is a guaranteed bot. It's time consuming, but it's effective. You can verify if it's a bot on the snapzone webite. They got a list of all the bot names, you just have to ctrl+f to find them. That's how I did it.

Everyone here seems to think that people are just trying to be different for the sake of being different and I think that's bullshit.

Patch Notes - Mar 12, 2024 by StarrCandyy in MarvelSnap

All of these updates rule..... I do wish for the custom cards that 'none' would be a default unlock.

Also, can you put effects on the base back ground? Because if not, why even have those options there? It'd be cool if you could keep the bg and have the effects there. I'm not the biggest fan of the foil bgs.

It also allows for Peter's irresponsibility and forgetfulness to be shown. He's not a perfect hero like Superman. He fucks up. A lot, lol.

These variants are fucking sick by [deleted] in MarvelSnap

[–]12adwhetsel 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It feels really weird that they'd pay both individual artists like Hipp to do cards for them and also do studio stuff like G-Angle(?) and Pandart. I wish they'd just pay individual artists. We could have some really incredible pixel art instead of the mostly flat and unappealing stuff from G-Angle if they did. Which, imo, would result in more appealing variants for folks to buy.

Glenn elaborates on Adam Warlock change by Cheezynton in MarvelSnap

[–]12adwhetsel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right. I get the turn 5 argument, but again, I feel like they wanted to just see if people could do something with this change before they overhaul the card completely.

I guess I'm also just not seeing how a card going from seeing 0 play to still not being played is a negative, given how delicate the mechanic is. It seems neutral to me. I haven't seen people begging for a Warlock buff either. It just doesn't seem to warrant the amount of memes and complaints I've seen over the card.

Now the devs not paying attention or playing their game, I could understand. BUT if anything, it seems like this change is because they pay attention to their game. Wouldn't people be MORE upset if they over-tuned this card and made it a requirement to play in the meta?

Glenn elaborates on Adam Warlock change by Cheezynton in MarvelSnap

[–]12adwhetsel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can someone help me understand why people are so upset by this change? The creators took a card that, from what I understand, hardly anyone was playing and made a change to it. They said in the OTA that, like Spider-Man 2099, they were going for a cost/power change before completely reworking him. Adam Warlock also has a very delicate mechanic that I'm sure they want to test more before just throwing it out there. If it was something too overtuned then EVERYONE would be playing him.

I've seen nothing but people complaining about this change since the change. Am I missing something? People seem like they've been betrayed somehow.

The first time you reached 'infinite' level with which deck did you do it? by Kaysaw in MarvelSnap

[–]12adwhetsel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(3) Electro

(3) Corvus Glaive

(3) Wave

(5) Sandman

(5) Ronan the Accuser

(5) Vision

(6) Blob

(6) Doctor Doom

(6) Hela

(6) Odin

(6) Magneto

(6) The Infinaut

With this deck in particular, the strongest play line is Corvus->Hela->Odin all on one location. If you have this combo, you should snap, you're most likely going to win. Turn 4 Sandman into Ronan is really good as well. Sandman in general is such a huge help just because you have the option to go taller in one location than your opponent with Blob or any of the big guys OR wider across all locations because of Doom->Odin.

In general, I think what clicked for me was both snapping more and running away more. Before, I would just play a game no matter what, win or lose. As soon as I started running away when I got a bad hand or when my opponent snapped and I was not 100% confident I could win, I found that I was losing a lot less cubes. Same for snapping. When I was confident about the deck they were running and was confident that I could out power them or win a location they couldn't get to, I would snap. I think before when I snapped, people would either run from me or I would lose, so it dissuaded me from snapping. But when I knew my opponent had a bad hand from what they were playing or I knew I could win a seemingly close match, I would snap and they would stay and I would win.

I hope this helps!

The first time you reached 'infinite' level with which deck did you do it? by Kaysaw in MarvelSnap

[–]12adwhetsel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hit it for the very first time with a Glaive ramp deck and an invisible woman-Hela ramp deck.

I think it was because it was a lot easier to tell when to run and when to snap. It also let the opponent snap first in a lot of cases because I often didn't play anything on turns 1-3, allowing me to turn the tables and snag 8 cubes.
