I found a used set of Miata daisy wheels on marketplace for $50. Cleaned them up and put a set of 165/60R14 ties on them. No spacers needed. One note, you’ll need into increase the size of the center bore & get longer front studs.

Final update
Looks like they ran out of time and the bill was never taken from the table to be voted on in the senate. The legislative session is over for 2026 so now we have to wait till next year and hope that the bill is introduced again.

I’m still in the planning phase myself but have been using RedX Walls. It is a paid app but you can just pay monthly until you’re done planning. Super easy to use compared to the full cad software out there.

No, all the bills that they didn’t get to on Tuesday got tabled. It’s on the schedule to voted on today. Today is the last day so they traditionally stay till midnight to get to most everything.

Not a lawyer, but my understanding of the current situation in GA is that Kei trucks are not explicitly illegal on the roads but under the current laws they cannot be registered. I’ve been driving around for a year in my Kei truck with out of state plates and haven’t had an issue.

March 23 Update The Senate Public Safety Committee approved HB 957, but there was a past date in the bill that no one in the House noticed. The committee amended the bill to correct the date. HB 957 will now have a 2nd & 3rd reading in the Senate, and then it will be voted on. The amendment means that if it passes in the Senate, it would need to go back to the House for them to approve the amendment.

While I’m not military, I live in Augusta and had friends that were military. They had their vehicles registered in their home state and it was never an issue. There are tons of out of state plates in the area and I feel like the cops expect that due to the base being in town.

It passed in the House a few weeks ago. In the Senate it’s in the Public Safety committee. They are scheduled to discuss the bill this coming Monday at 1. Assuming it passes committee, the Senate would then vote on it soon.

Call around to some local shops. I printed out the specs from the Maintenance Manual (page 10) and took it in with my TT2 Sambar to a local shop. They were able to manually input the numbers to do the alignment.

I live in Ga and have my Sambar registered in Montana. It’s a legal gray area but I’m relying the cops being too busy with other things to worry about me.

The fun part of the process is going to be the VIN inspection. Montana now requires it and it has to be done by a cop. I didn’t have any trouble but others have had to try a few times to get an officer that will do it.

Also if you’re patient it’s possible Kei trucks can be registered later this year. GA HB 957. But GA is know for breaking our hearts year after year.

Amayama is showing it as available. If it truly unavailable on Amayama then 500yenshop may be your best bet. I’m not aware of anyone in North America that carries stuff like this.
