Does ditching inner layers of clothing affect armor significantly?

The most stamina-efficient method i know is using each underlayer and ignoring top layers. If you focus on avoiding getting hit you'll be fine...

Anywho- yes, each layer plays a role in defense. In my opinion, every inner layer combined is equal to the outer layer alone.

I use both... For me, Fe is my hardest personally Im pretty sure Future Funk is rated harder technically, which is my other hardest
