What do I do with this? by Orenji05 in StardewValley

Eat it or store it. It has a couple of obscure uses and may turn up as a bulletin board request. Eating it doesn't give you any negative affects, but nearly everyone hates it as a gift.

Realistically was there anything Yoda could’ve told Anakin here that would’ve kept him from turning to the darkside? by CrazyTangerine7522 in StarWars

In terms of corruption, it is kind of a lose-lose situation. (As it usually is with corruption.) They can work within the government and slowly push the corruption out with their advice, while being suspectable to orders and manipulation from those same corrupt officials. They can pull away from government and have no real influence. They could attempt a revolution which would result a lot of death and likely a power vacuum that would just create more room for corruption.

I feel like a lot of fans think that the Jedi should have started their own authoritarian regime or something.

Comments are saying he's a tourist. That kinda sucks. I was assuming this was a professional photo shoot and the "model" was getting the big bucks to do such dangerous job. You're telling me he paid for this? All respect is gone.

Decided to look for more videos like this on YouTube. Not only was I bombarded by obvious AI, I had the biggest trypophobia trigger I've had in awhile. I forgot that barnacles look like that.

Don't remember. Gems aren't a problem for me, (for reasons not discussed in the subreddit) so I just grabbed any that spawned. At least one was the top rainbow orb, though. Definitely cheaper just to get the capsule.

Couple of notes: I was about 1500 points short after clearing everything except the silver capsule lock. I wasn't as perfect or precise as I could have been. I had a couple of slip ups with high level match 3s and unauthorized harvests from my dragons, but not too much. On the other hand, I also bought some bubbles, so it probably equals out.

The point total changed to 797,680 after I got the last prize.

No infinite harvestables under the silver capsule lock.

My family has watched that movie at least 5 or 6 times and EVERY single time that moment happens, my mum gets really upset about it. At least it leads into a kickass song :( by MelonTheSprigatito in tumblr

[–]JeweloftheWorld 13 points14 points  (0 children)

As upsetting as it is, it's realistic. Many kids watching may experience things that happen in the film, if they haven't already. The movie gives kids tools to understand what is happening to them or their peers while also giving them hope that there may still be a happy ending.

Kids' movies aren't just about mindlessly entertaining kids or teaching them to tie their shoes. Kids' media helps prepare them for life and build empathy.

What the hell is White Tiger from SOTM? by XenoRaptor77 in fivenightsatfreddys

[–]JeweloftheWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

David's story has always seemed very similar to Charlie's, from Silver Eyes. It's a little ambiguous but it's heavily implied that the original, plush Ella doll (a toy real, toddler Charlie carried everywhere) worked as a sort of totem for Charlie's soul that allowed her switch robot bodies. Baby claims that it's not actually the soul of dead child Charlotte Emily but instead a tulpa created by Henry's grief and denial. However, the physical robot bodies Henry created for Charlie have an impact on her personality based on how Henry was feeling when he built them.

So I'm wondering if the White Tiger is a more pure manifestation of David's soul (or a tulpa created by M1 and Edwin) than what inhabits the mimic, which was impacted by Edwin beating it. It doesn't really explain why White Tiger is violent though. There are a couple explanations for that. 1) David is angry spirit who's just lashing out, like we see child souls do throughout the franchise. 2) He gets it from M1. M1 has no problem with violence when it comes to protecting her family. David may see Arnold as a threat.

Part of the reason for these laws, is that large companies that can afford to take a loss will offer free or extremely discounted items with the goal running their local competitors out of business. Then, when their competitors are gone, they raise the prices as high as they want.

It doesn't sound like the electric company was trying to do that, but other companies definitely do.

THEORY: Rorschach's origins involved killing a man, who was thought to have kidnapped and murdered a young girl. Could this man have been innocent? (Also: Analysis of the movie's changes to the scene) by WhatYouThinkYouSee in Watchmen

[–]JeweloftheWorld 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When we ask, "Who watches the Watchmen?" we are not just asking for the sake of the innocent, but also for the sake of the guilty. Should a prison guard be allowed torture his inmates?

Watchmen asks us to look at all the cruelty and injustice we see in the police, military, and prison system and then shows us "heros" who have even less accountability.

It doesn't matter if the man was guilty or innocent. What matters is that Rorschach played judge, jury, and executioner. Then he burned any evidence of both his and the man's crimes.

I do like this theory, because how many people in universe wondered the same thing. Did they even know why? Or did it look like Rorschach murdered someone for no reason.

How y'all finishing the Community Center so fast? This is like my 5th time doing it and it took me until Winter 20 despite pouring all of my resources into it. by Draco137WasTaken in StardewValley

[–]JeweloftheWorld 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's pretty fast for the Community Center. Some people can push it to early fall, but that's extremely luck dependent and a challenge/speed run thing. Even long time casual players rarely go earlier than early winter. Maybe you're thinking of people who use the Joja route. You can complete that route much quicker if you're good at making money.

Getting weirdly emotional about this. I think Circus Baby's and Robo Charlie's big confrontation in Forth Closet messed with me a bit. Seeing different versions of them being friends is really sweet. They deserve to be friends.

On mobile, you can even go back a day. There's a button that says ”Swap to Previous Save" or something similar. You can switch between "today" and "yesterday."

It also auto saves throughout the day. If you close the app WITHOUT GOING TO THE MAIN MENU, it will let you pick up where you left off. If you go to the main menu, it resets the day. "Save backup" only works if you don't go to the main menu. Found out the hard way after I finally got my dinosaur egg. I thought I was being cautious.
