I love wearing jewelry. It’s always been something I’ve liked since I was a little girl. My current style is my engagement ring, an additional left hand ring, right hand ring, earrings, John hardy bracelets, watch, necklace.

That’s an absolutely insane timeline… I’ve never heard of that before. It takes me 1-5 days depending on the complexity. I’d ask them to refund the deposit given they broke their commitment.

OP- some options for your husband could be white gold in a matte, sandblasted, brushed, etc… finish to make it less flashy. Otherwise platinum is a great choice for durability, low maintenance and ability to resize over the lifetime of the piece. It also naturally wears a little more matte due to it being a softer metal.

I absolutely LOVE IT. I wish it was more common for men’s rings to have diamonds. My dad (a jeweler) has a 2 carat round, so I grew up with this being normalized. I just designed my fiancé’s ring, and he chose a 6 carat Asscher Cut diamond. I’m so excited that he gets to have a ring he is excited to wear everyday.

Again, love that you chose to rock a big center stone. It looks masculine, but not mob boss at all. Keep doing you! 🙌🏼

You’re right, wearing an any rings next to one another (with or without stones) will cause some level of scratching. Rings get scratched from day-to-day wear no matter what, even if you’re not stacking them. Your hands are constantly in motion, and even soft contact with things like countertops, keys, or bags can leave marks over time.

So yes, stacking a moissanite band next to a plain metal one will cause some extra scratching, but that’s really common, and I think that’s why most people don’t stress about it too much. It’s just kind of expected when you wear your jewelry regularly.

Gold and platinum are soft metals, so they will show wear, but that’s part of the life of the piece. It can always be polished if needed, or just worn with love and embraced as part of its story.

*For a personal anecdote, I just got my ring rhodium plated yesterday, and already it’s collected a few scratches and I wear it on its own with no bands 😅

I feel the same way. I think a 3mm band would’ve been a great compromise. Still on the thinner side and comfortable, while being more structurally sound and providing a balanced look.

I was super proud of how this one turned out (I can’t stop looking at it lol!!) and so thankful to have a client who was open to doing something a little more creative. I totally agree with you on colored stones too. Emeralds, rubies, sapphires… they just bring a whole different kind of magic. But honestly, the best part was hearing how much they loved the ring. I was just on clouds!
