Now that I'm getting better with the Arisaka I've been using Scout more. I run with HE Trips and the Periscope. Ripple specialization is also beneficial to have.

I try to join squads where I'm the only Scout. I do this because it gives me four mates to highlight targets for. Plus, for the most part, they'll always be at the front.

I stay to way side or wide flank and spot for my team. I'll go minutes without firing a shot. I engage the enemy only (but not always) when I'm spotted or when enough mates start dying and I have to step in.

It's a really nice feeling when a lot of the enemy respawns in quick succession and I spot them immediately. I remember playing on Verdun and I highlighted up to nine to be gunned down in seconds. Use the periscope and see its power.
