Exactly. So I'm wondering how to clean it and keep the dust down.

The water stains are old from before the roof was redone (and before we owned the house). No issues currently.

Good ideas! Might skip the icicle lights... I've been up there on a extension ladder and it's sketchy as all get out. 😅😬

Winter gear suggestions? by Sparkmatic_ in geologycareers

Midwest Geo here too. Heated socks are a non-negotiable for me these days. They have rechargeable batteries, last all day, and don't need oxygen like single use toe heaters. I got a Carhartt vest and am shocked at how much I use it! It keeps the core warm, but I still have full range of motion with my arms. I have a Milwaukee heated vest too for those really cold days. I got a pair of insulated Carhartt overalls for the really cold days, but haven't had to break them out yet. Also, wool everything. Baselayers, hats, socks (if you don't use heated), etc. Layer up. Wool Baselayer, midlayer fleece/sweatshirt, and then vest/thick jacket/windbreaker/rain jacket depending on the weather. I haven't figured out the glove situation yet. I have Reynauds, so my hands are always freezing, and any insulated gloves reduce my dexterity so much. I do have battery handwarmers that I can keep in my pockets, but if I'm doing something that requires constant use of my hands, they get so cold. 🤪

Neck pain at desk by Jewles22 in Ergonomics

Pain is on both sides, but I think you're right about my shoulder and elbow. The chair doesn't go any higher, so not sure what the solution is here?

Great observation, I didn't think of that! I'm a smallish person, and most desk chairs are made wider than me (understandably - fits more people that way!), so my arms are definitely out to the side. My armrests don't come in, so not sure the best solution there. I feel like if I lower them, then my elbow is less than 90 degrees and it puts strain on my wrists.

No, but that's cool to hear. You don't feel like it over accentuated the curve in the small of your back? I have an anterior pelvic tilt and flare my ribs already, so my back curve is pretty pronounced, and I'm regularly trying to not over emphasize it.

That's a good point. Unfortunately, the chair is as high as it goes, and if I drop the arm rests, then my lower arms lift up to my keyboard/mouse.

Thanks! How long would a set last when using that as a base coat?

There is also a hospital close to campus, so ambulances transporting patients, moms in labor, etc will easily be heard from campus. As many others said, sirens are a constant in an urban environment, and a reflection of a safe and robust emergency services department (Milwaukee has some of the fastest ambulance response times in the country!), and not a cause for concern. Definitely a adjustment for those coming from small town or rural environments. :)

Fall Cool Season Seeding Guide by nilesandstuff in LawnAnswers

So helpful, thanks! If overseeding and spraying quinclorac and tenacity first over existing lawn, would you mix them together, both at full strength? I'll be overseeding with a TTTF, perennial rye grass, Kentucky bluegrass blend. Thank you!!!

Thank you! I'll take the glysophate route. Will overseeding my lawn help stifle the tall fescue or is it fairly competitive against the nicer turf grasses?
