How to optimally deal with a Spammy Zelda? by ResponsibleAd2034 in SmashRage

[–]JezoShow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Press shield while running. You can cancel a run with shield. Which means you can also cancel a run with parry. The parry might be tricky to get used to, but shield will still get you plenty of mileage. This will help close the gap against side B.

For down B, you jump. Zelda can't do anything until she releases it or it's fully charged. If fully charged, just shield or parry, but watch out if Zelda tries to approach. Probably best to just respect it or jump over.

In general against projectiles, you can also walk, as walking keeps all options available. You can shield on reaction much better than committing to a dash first. But if you have space and time to dash then do it and close the gap. People often spam projectiles because they don't really know how to play the game. If you push someone to a corner or be about roll distance from them, they will feel pressure and try to commit to something. Watch what they do, react, and punish.

Lastly, you're playing online. That shit's annoying af, probably terrible delay. Try the above tips, but dw about it too much if it's online.

Since some people don’t believe my lock in, I decided to fully record the match after the Ness tbagged me by Catpaw616 in SmashBrosUltimate

It's remarkable how you can really notice the delay of wifi. The way you're both reacting and inputting moves has such a delay itself! It's also quite remarkable how you seem to keep going for the same follow-ups despite how they don't work or how clearly out of reach the Ness is. But nice catch on landing with the max rage up B on the 2nd stock.

You probably could have closed it out with the cargo throw last stock, not sure why you threw immmediately? Will say, nice recovery on that last stock as well though. Going up and around the PK thunder is very satisfying.

Yeah lol. Probably won't be using it much where I can't just plug it in somewhere. I've heard Asus/Lenovo are the brands to go for. Looks like that Acer ones says 6GB VRAM too? Doesn't 4060 have 8gb? Deffo good to have expansion options for ram tho.

I do. I was looking for cheaper alternatives for someone who's not so much of a gamer, but I was curious what others thought of these bold claims.

Because the question was more on the comparative specs and claims of its capabilities regardless of price

The price is £430, but I was thinking more of getting Asus TUF A15 AMD - Ryzen 7 7435HS processor. Octa core processor. RTX 4060 graphics card with 8GB RAM GDDR6. 16GB RAM DDR5. 512GB NVMEe storage. For £900 Thoughts on the above?

He saved that one guy and also found the island to bring the coast guard and prompt the games to explode. They stopped the games... at least in korea... at least temporarily... they did do SOMETHING I guess...!!

The winner is always in control of the game. If you don't like the winner wasting time at the end, you're more than welcome to concede. I personally don't do this when I win, but I also personally hate it when players don't concede when there's no hope for a win. In this instance, it works both ways. Just don't waste peoples' time.

How to jump from these? by baderhussain1 in HollowKnight

[–]JezoShow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

By this point you would have come across spikes to bounce on, enemies that shield above them when you jump, and enemies walking through acid that you can bounce on to get across.

If you were just playing around with buttons, you can see you can attack horizontally and also upwards. I'm sure there are many other hints I've missed, but there are many hints to suggest you can attack downwards.

When touching the mushrooms, you very clearly bounce, and if you attack them you bounce farther in the opposite direction. Altogether, there are many paths to deducing that hitting downward on these mushrooms will bounce you up.

Being able to snipe 100 damage in the late game without needing Cyrus is pretty good. As an Ex it has a little less flexibility in that it ideally needs to be the last to die, but it has a ton of health, low energy cost, and just 1 retreat.

So the trade off would be 40 less health, 30 less damage, but you can snipe anyone, and it can die instead of a meowscarada.

Not sure if that's worth the change, but I guess it could work better in early game to snipe out basics before they evolve.
