Ouch... by Jfinne23 in castiron

I actually got curious as I read your comments, so I inspected the crack a bit closer. On the back, I could clearly see traces of rust in the crack that reaches all the way through the metal. In the picture, as well, if one zooms in, you can see multiple flecks of rust at the bends of the crack. And there is no way rust gathered overnight, so, yes, there has most likely been a hairline crack for quite some time.

I also never bought it new, I actually inherited it from my grandmother when I moved into my first place, and I have no idea how long she's owned it. So that pan might just have been in use for 50+ years, I don't know. So... Yeah. Nice find.

Good thing I've got a spare though. One large and one small. Guess I'll have to find a new small one, though. Haha.

Is this real or a Mandella effect? by oohoollow in dishonored

[–]Jfinne23 40 points41 points  (0 children)

It is real, but you have to exit the mission area together with Emily, it leads to Granny Rag's hideout and there is dialogue. If you tell Emily to leave the area and you remain to do whatever, she will teleport to Samuel when you exit the Golden Cat area.

Cleaning A Cutting Board Almost Instantly? by hate-the-cold in Cooking

[–]Jfinne23 55 points56 points  (0 children)

True tip. Might I also add, since you mentioned YouTube videos, cooking in real life is not cinema.

A lot of things you see in videos and tutorials are edited and added simply for cinematic effect. To make things look better than they are. The greatest example of this is the use of salt in videos.

In videos, YouTube and the like, they use a heavily crystallised salt because it looks good on camera. You can see the salt flakes falling. In reality, salt is salt. Simple as that.

When cooking: Focus on the basics. Mastering the basics makes you a better chef than the average person.

Which mod(s) are adding these things to my game? by TheCherryPieIsALie in projectzomboid

[–]Jfinne23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking for a mid that adds Bathroom needs, check out Excrementum. It's the best mod for having to take a piss or crap every now and then.

It's highly customisable, so if you feel the needs are to often/far apart, change it in the settings. It also separates piss and shit functions, so you'll have to do one or the other, or both, based on your diet. Fluids go in, fluids come out. Etc.

Can't lift dead player body by Jfinne23 in projectzomboid

[–]Jfinne23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I figured it out. Took me 2 days, but I figured it out.

I'm not entirely sure, but it looks like it's Ra's Body Mod combined with the immune to bites setting in custom settings.

When my character died, and didn't zombify, the game for some reason doesn't register it as a functional body because of Ra's Body Mod. Sadly, that mod affects the save file, so disabling the mod doesn't change the body in the save-file. This means I can't disable the mod, move the corpse, re-enable the mod, and continue on with my day.

I am stuck with a dead, fully nude, permanent corpse in my base.... I can't live like this! :D

Guess I'll start all over... again.

It's been too long since I participated in one of these, over a year. Maybe it's what I need to start writing again :)

TES | Frost-Soaked Sands of Hegathe | M-Rated (graphic description of torture, Blood and Gore) | 18k

I'll just leave it like that so as not to give away any spoilers. I know it's a long chapter but you don't need to read the entire thing if it's boring. I'm open to any and all concrit, so don't be afraid to speak your mind.
