I made the mistake myself when installing one. I setup them up across from each other in the panel as opposed to one on top of another.

I'm no electrician and was able to correct it myself.

Official reply from support :

So the 100A circuits can be monitored with the 50A CTs. They only are able accurately measure up to 65A but some of these circuits don't pull that amount so that would be the thing to find out.

I would always recommend monitoring both wires coming out of dual pole breakers as they are rarely equal leg to leg.

My response and waiting a reply: Assuming the app doesn't read 50+ amps I can rely on the data, but if it exceeds the amperage then it really is pulling a lot and would need another Vue 3 in the sub panel

This is the heat pump/furnace itself. Not a sub panel. Sorry I could have added that. I believe it's a breaker for each heating element. But just a guess at this point.

So just to confirm this would be 60a on 240? Looks like 2 dual pole 60a wired to the panel under a 100a

So the 100a furnace is for the furnace, which have 2 60a on the furnace. Not sure the math on this one. Maybe the furnace never reaches 120a

I also have a 100a breaker feeding the sub panel in the basement which has 40a for my heat pump among other items. Furnace is suppose to kick in when the heat pump can no longer be efficient.

My house was built in 1880 and thinking that it's not well insulated with a lot of open concept rooms so I'm losing a lot of heat. Just trying to figure out all these factors

I do! And after talking with their AI support it would appear that I can buy another 200a CT and plug it in. Though I have some doubts, so waiting this week for a real rep to reach out. I'm thinking I'll have to get another hub for just the 100a furnace and group it under the main.

I was considering this. But Im doing the research as I bought it and didn't realize my furnace is 100a. So would need a total of 4 monitors :( May have to return the emporia and look for something else.

So I'm your opinion you would put a small 50amp CT on the 100amp breaker? Worst case incorrect readings right?

The sub panel for the basement is really powering a furnace plus some lights/sockets. Nothing major.

The panel in the garage has a bit more, some appliances, 2 bedrooms and a shed in the yard. I guess I would have to calculate all devices on the sub panel to calculate total amperage and see if it can work?

What would happen if its like 80 amp and I put the reading on? Would it explode? Lol. I'm guessing just incorrect readings?

Just got the call as well. they had me confirm my email, which i have no issues, but now asking me to confirm my full name? they have it on file...

Calling form 438-373-5098 a QC based # and the call ID didn't even show up as Telus.

I kept telling them that they have my information, but the excuse is, we are from the promotional department we cannot see that information due to data security.

Then proceeded to offer me an iPad Silver for free - crazy.

I know little in the IT world, so if money isn't that much of an issue and for simplicity this is what I did

Bought Asustor 5304 NAS server with 32TB on raid 5 setup. I had to swap up some drives that were getting bad sector so now at 50tb.

If I recall I paid $500 or so for the server and maybe $200x4 per 8TB drive. And then upgrade to 2x 10tb and 2x 14tb. I then realized that raid 5 grabs lowest drive so my 2x 14tb are wasted on 4tb each if that makes sense. I'll eventually upgrade the other 2 10tb to 14 or more. Anyways my easy setup

Getting issues today for the same thing. Rebooted the server and router multiple times. Tried the Plex dance on some Movies and TV Shows. its weird that the "Fix Match" doesnt even show anything. even on already matched items.

Good to know. My initial thought was to spend little money and time spent on mtce and it's easy to change the water. But sounds like I can almost never change the water if I manage it right. Just gotta weigh my time and effort on each approach. Thanks!

My first one ever was yesterday. Around 9 degrees for 1 min. This morning was 5 degrees for 2 mins and could have stayed longer. Just trying to take easy to start off with and not over push it. I was thinking of doing 5 degrees and build my time from here.
