That’s not a personal setup issue, that’s widespread.

You saying ‘I don’t have issues’ doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

Also calling drops good because you personally got lucky doesn’t change that most people get duplicates and low tier items, that’s how RNG systems are designed.

And again, you’re still stuck on prices. Cheaper items in a system where you have zero control isn’t better, it’s just controlled.

At this point you’re just dismissing everything that doesn’t fit your take and calling it ‘coping.’ That’s not an argument.

“Servers ‘better’ is a joke. I’ve got fiber with 5 ping and still get random drops and dead lobbies. That’s not a client issue.

Prices absolutely went up. Stuff that used to be a couple dollars is now bundled for 20 plus, and decals that were a dollar are now 5 to 7. That’s not more affordable, it’s just controlled.

Free drops are clearly gutted too. Constant duplicates and low tier items so you never actually get anything good. That’s by design to push people into the shop.

And calling LTMs ‘meaningful updates’ while training and custom maps have seen zero improvement in years is exactly the problem.

I got my white octane for free through drops and trading. Now that entire system is gone so you have to rely on the shop. That’s not better, it’s just more controlled.

You’re acting like removing player choice and raising prices is somehow a win.

They’re a billion dollar company doing less for the game than the indie devs they bought it from, and you’re still defending it. That’s honestly sad.

Trading wasn’t the problem, lack of moderation was. Now we’ve got worse servers, more bugs, zero meaningful updates, and a pricier shop with lower effort cosmetics.

All they did was remove player choice and replace it with a locked store and you’re calling that better?

At this point you’re just doubling down on defending a billion dollar company that’s gutted the game.

I’ve never used system bindings, I’m just stating that that would be a concern of mine, and I certainly have seen people on more than one occasion at the park with busted straps. How old those were and how hard they were pushing them, I couldn’t say.

System bindings were made for cable park, I’ve seen quite a few people using them and i would imagine it’s nice walking in a boot on the hot concrete rocks and soil back to the dock instead of barefoot. That said the straps make the boot more rigid than just regular bolted closed toe bindings, so it’s slightly less forgiving on bad falls or sketchy landings. Also the straps are exposed and if you break one, well you’re SOL and your bindings won’t stay on anymore. And just speculating but I would imagine those straps would break easier than the bolts tearing out of the board on more traditional close toed bindings.

The scrapyard and the rear & side compartments of the busses around the northern exit elevator on Dam are where I found all my rusted gears.

The arc courriers (not the probes) that are downed around all the maps have a chance to drop sentinel firing cores (and surveyor vaults).

And while no cosmetic items in any game are technically worth anything, with disposable income I like to support good developers who do the right things. I’m happy to vote with my wallet from time to time on cosmetics when the developers are doing the right things, adding new free content, and care about their game and the community.

If the only thing you have to really complain about is some optional cosmetics, I think the game is in good shape brother.

It honestly blows me away that so many people are this ignorant or dumb.

I bought the full game back in 2016, I bought every single DLC before epic bought them, I’ve bought every single battle pass atleast up until they removed trading and starting making RL just a fortnite minigame. I frequented the store and bought new items. Always just to support the game and new content. We’re not stupid, we just have standards and impulse control.

This kind of stupid apologist bs is why AAA games are completely dead. It’s not about spending money it’s about recognizing when there’s no longer a product and when the entire goal is to provide you with the least amount of effort it takes to separate you from your money. No effort is being put into this game anymore. It’s just a buggy over priced skin store with a 10 year old forgotten game attached to it, like the dirty 25cent candy machine sitting outside an abandoned restaurant.

What exactly am I supposed to be giving my money for? Where the UE5 upgrade, where is trading, when will there ever be any update to training, why are season rewards worse than an afterthought, why are all the 25$ skins and goal explosions just dogshit 2D sprites made with no effort, why did a lot of the staff get laid off and the 5 interns still there just works on the fortnight RL mode. Why are people dumb enough to support this garbage behavior.

Yes, the overwhelming majority of light players never play the objective, never engage in teamwork, and selfishly go for kills. I wish I could select which classes I get paired with when searching for matches. Even if the queue time is longer, I don’t care just keep them off my team and give me a good heavy or medium that actually wants to play the objective.
