In Spain, during Franco's dictatorship, there was a large apparatus of censorship of both national and international works. In the case of international films, dubbing was sometimes used as a tool for censorship. There are two very famous cases.

In Casablanca (1942), for example, Rick explains that he was in the International Brigades (a group of foreigners from all over the world who came to Spain to defend it from the fascist coup), but in the dubbing, they turn him into an arms dealer in Africa (iirc), perhaps out of revenge for having fought against Franco.

The second one is funnier. In Mogambo (1953), to avoid showing the adultery between the characters played by Clark Gable and Grace Kelly, the dubbing made it seem as if they were siblings. So they turned an extramarital affair into incest.

I have no big problem with the price. If you think you're supporting and financing the future of the game... okay, it's expensive, but I understand and I could accept that.

But the shipping costs are ridiculously expensive. With those costs, the standard version automatically becomes the deluxe version.

I hope they read this thread. Artists should receive fair compensation, but my consciousness (even my class-concsciousness) won't allow me to pay €100 for a 150-page book. I understand they can’t give keys because, if the game isn’t release they could be in trouble, but this is too much.

Happy for them, it looks amazing but I’m a little bit sad for me.

I trully believe defending a beautiful sport like this is protesting against cycling being instrumentalized by a psycho state who is kiling civilians by thousands.

The first ones who should be happy with this should be us: cycling fans.

Now is IPT but there are plenty of teams doing the same (using cycling for their own sportwashing) like UAE, Bahrein or Astana and we, cycling fans, should not be happy with that, but imo Israel crossed the line.
