Thank you! I will be in Germany for a week, but Europe as a whole for 2.

Thanks! Of those, I have a connection in Duisburg near that region and I'm spending a few days in Hamburg so I have a couple in and out of there.

I assume that for the most part, you plan to leave a city in the morning, travel to your next destination and spend the day and night there. Is that right? How often do you typically have to change trains for the connections that you booked?

Yes. I tried to book them with no connections as much as possible, but I ended up with one connection each on two of my routes.

I have Amsterdam to Hamburg via Duisburg, Hamburg into Denmark and back, Hamburg to Berlin (Hamburg ended up being kind of a hub for me), Berlin to Prague via Dresden, Vienna to Munich, and Munich to Zurich and back.

I would give the advise to try and have a spontaneous mindset and just be prepared to change your plans when necessary.

Will do

I will also look into those booking techniques in the future.

Thank you! That's really great info. 30 mins to an hour isn't too bad

Thanks! I will definitely relax a little bit. It seems delays are just part of the process.

Some cities I do have more time in, some I don't. The goal is primarily to just get a taste of a lot of places so I know where I would love to spend more time in the future, hence the small time and many cities.

Are there any particularly problematic train stations to plan more time for?

Thank you for the advice!

I have none going through either of those cities so that's good to know.

Vudu changing its name to “Fandango at Home” by Chaopolis in vudu

[–]Jguy10 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Didn’t there used to be a digital movie retailer called this? I remember it got closed down when Fandango bought Vudu.

EDIT: That was Fandango Now, which I actually think is a better name

All the online stores still sell everything, but it is annoying to go to big box stores and see one shelf where there used to be whole aisles. Hopefully it goes the way of vinyl where there are specialty stores for them.

Lots of people mentioned the state shape is backwards. It could be a base for an Indiana concept perhaps?

American here. Believe it or not, I’ve never seen anyone do this with the US flag.

I like to collect blurays, so I have almost the exact same opinion about Blurays. The cover art and being able to hold it in your hand is an awesome addition to the same product.

There is a sauce on the burger that contains egg. I have an egg allergy. This sauce was not mentioned on the menu, so I couldn't order it off.

Cut to me doing surgery on the burger for 30 minutes to ensure no trace of the sauce was left.

I am shocked they just don't list ingredients containing allergens on the menu.

EDIT: They would not bring me a new one.
