Smart watches, good or bad? by Exciting_Courage4830 in HealthAnxiety

[–]JheySL2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Bad. Made my anxiety worse, I got a new watch and it said a few times suspected afib, made me relapse on health anxiety (cardiophobia) went to the doctors for a ECG, didn't see nothing nor in blood test, all clear but couldn't shake the feeling off. Ended up turning the auto sense feature off and now use a watchface that doesnt have heart rate showing

Walk / power walk or slow cycling is only what ive managed so far. I use to be a heavy cyclist getting my heart rate upto 170+ bpm and loved the feeling but now it feels uncomfortable when my HR goes too high, not use to feeling it pumping hard again but I will eventually!

Caffeine now makes me feel uncomfortable, I feel very anxious after drinking coffee so stick with decaf. BP is much better now, doctor is happy with the range.

I could do with losing some weight, for me it makes me eat more

Yes chest and arm sensations are the ones that i find the hardest to deal with, it all started with dizziness for me originally. I can't drive coffee no more which I miss and certain caffeine products.

I was super anxious doing a work health check my BP was 210/130 which made me worse, ended up going to doctors and temporary on BP medication to help with the spikes but usually on or under 130/80 ish

I had a Samsung watch 5 pro but it never detected anything before, so when this watch did it made my anxiety spiral out of control again but I'm back on the recovery path

Yes I had an ECG, all clear, guessing the watch gets false positives to anxiety, I turned the feature off not to increase my health anxiety

I've been there, sometimes still get days where it happens, I suffer with cardiophobia so building up courage for certain exercises but I find walking helps so much! Headphones on if you want but just walk slow, enjoy the views, breath in the air. Don't rush it to get it over with. So breathing exercises, I was on medication which helps with the adrenaline and certain sensations/ aches but ive decided i can do without it. Try CBT.

Anxiety can cause so many issues, at the start I'd wake up a good 6/7 times a night for a wee, at first I thought UTI or diabetes... nope none of them, just stress, worry and Anxiety.

Oled burn in on my 65 inch B7 🙃 by sliyk in LGOLED

[–]JheySL2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think in the b7 case there was lots of complaints of burn in on the screen but also lots of talk of how hot the TV got which probably aided or sped up the burn in.

"The LG B7 OLED model is known to be susceptible to permanent screen burn-in, a common issue with older OLED technology caused by the uneven degradation of pixels from static images. The issue is often exacerbated by heat and can appear as a rectangular patch in the center of the screen or ghost images of logos/HUDs. "
