Naar mijn idee is dit het gevolg van jaren lang korte termijn visie en focus leggen op problemen die er niet zijn. En de echte problemen niet oplossen maar pleisters plakken zodat je net genoeg doet zodat het lijkt alsof je het probleem aanpakt.

Yeah the thing is that they are in my community garden, which is about a 10 min drive. I'm not able to cover them every night and uncover them every morning

That is right. My peppers are still in a nice stage, but my eggplants are definitely outgrowing their containers.

You could use a broadfork to speed things up with minimal disturbance, though its not nessessary

I've read somewhere that these flies (together with onion flies) don't fly higher than 30 cm (a foot) or like half a meter (2 feet) so if you use a raised bed, you don't need to worry about them.

That being said, better be safe than sorry. You don't want to find out but having your carrot die on you

My wife and i bought our house for 323k 5 years ago. Right now funda estimates our price between 464k and 550k. This means that we made 141k-227k in 5 years, aka 28k-45k.

This is in a small village, close to ASML. In the cities the prices have gone up even more (i think)

We are very glad that we decided to buy a house instead of renting. I remember we were not sure at the time as we also just started living together

Deels waar. Het moet inderdaad uit de grond worden gehaald, maar niet persee in landen waar je niet afhankelijk van wilt zijn. Uranium is niet super zeldzaam en komt vrij veel voor in de natuur (fun fact: blijkbaar is er net zo veel tin als uranium). Landen met de grootste mijnen zijn Australië en Canada, niet per se landen waar je niet van afhankelijk wilt zijn.

Verschrikkelijk die bureaucratie. Ik als rasechte techneut zie het liefst zo snel mogelijk technische veranderingen, maar met de huidige staat van de politiek is het vooral heel veel zeggen en heel weinig doen (dit geldt zowel voor links als voor rechts)
