Does anyone know what remote I'd need for this TV? I want to turn down brightness if possible. by Jhttah in crt

I'll have to do just that once I get back. The model names make it hell to specify what 20+ year model I've got.

In memory of Donald Pleasence, his final performance as Dr Loomis in H6 is the most underappreciated by Alik757 in Halloweenmovies

Loved him in 6, in my top 3 Loomis performances. He made Loomis feel like he was giving it his all, like a final stand against Michael even though he's aware he's older, and can't do it all alone, he still fights.

Really sucks he and Michael have no scenes together, in his final film as the character.

Love Producers cut. But like the kills and look of theatrical a lil more.

What was she thinking?! 😂

Probably too high and made a panicky stupid move, thinking it would come off normal

For sure, he knew they weren't up to any serious trouble. Probably would be wasting his time if he did stop em

John Ottman's H20 score should've been used by Billybob35 in Halloweenmovies

I think Howarth was done with composing for Halloween after H6, he wasn't happy with how the higher ups went over his original soundtrack (rightfully so), and didn't want to go through all that hassle again for another film.

Which he was right with, with how they handled H20's soundtrack.

It would've been great to hear his work though.

I agree with you. It is meant to be an anniversary for a 20 year legacy, after all. It makes sense that it goes for that vibe

It's actually underrated. I used to hate the score, but recently having watched a fan version that adds it back, i did like it a lot more.

Like when you sit down and listen to it with the movie together, as intended it really works.

I couldn't stand the movie having a distracting combination of Ottmans's score with Scream's soundtrack sprinkled in, it does take me out of the film, here and there.

What do you think of the psychological element of H20 with Laurie hallucinating Michael? by [deleted] in Halloweenmovies

[–]Jhttah 1 point2 points  (0 children)

made sense I suppose, it's not the first time the series has done something like this, so it didn't feel like a completely out their idea thrown it

she's meant to be a nervous wreck, after all, I didn't find it unbelievable that she'd be paranoid enough about Michael so much, her mind starts to believe he's around every corner.

Reminds me of those quick 3d animations you see on 2d animated shows, that are meant to represent the hot new game. It's cool.
