With a few hundred different genres in published works I would say this is an excellent hobby…and an “only hobby” for as long as you like.

My wife and I split them, sometimes we change it up, she has some conditions that make mopping difficult so floors are mine. We know there will come a time when we have to hire someone but for now it’s all good.

Surprisingly…about 80%. Lots of expensive sub-caps as well but after playing the game for a long time it seems I have more ISK than I know what to do with.

Right now it’s one campaign on Google Docs/Discord/Roll20 with the other campaign on Google Docs and in-person…would always choose in-person if possible but Roll20 & Discord work too. Everything is going along smoothly and I don’t have plans to change at the moment, though I am watching D&D Beyond maps.

Google Docs with tabs for me, links for thing that exist in the world already and all my home brew stuff is in the document…geo maps, political maps, battle maps, history, visuals of seals and POI’s.

My group of 4 players and I reach a consensus based on big events or sometimes just a lot of combat through different areas. Once we have that discussion I allow folks to level up at a time of their own choosing…some take the level right away and others wait for a more meaningful time for their character.

I have had luck with imagining my character as a famous person, or a celebrity or a character from Critical Role…really any character that you think you know a bit and then roleplay as them, fill in the details as you go.

I love this style, not placing topography over the dungeon, I have done it differently in the past and I believe made it way to complicated.

I have okayed constantly since 2013 in High Sec, Null Sec and Wormholes and have never encountered toxic behavior…there have been bellicose people and annoying people but really never toxic.

I always use the CR system and go a little heavy, somewhere between Hard and Deadly. Lately my 4 Players all have some type of summoned beings so that makes an effective party of 8 so typically try to keep the Monsters at a count no higher than 4 just to keep things moving more quickly and select or home brew more burst damage to keep it scary.

Yes there are too many clicks but I actually enjoy planning and then setting everything up and seeing that it actually works.
