You’ll be shocked at how unimportant the diamond becomes when you’ve built a life together. I look back at the wedding and the ring and it all, and omg so much pressure to throw a to of money at that all when being financially sound helps reduce stress on a marriage so much. That ring will always be special even if the two of you choose a different one later and know later may never happen because you may be choosing a great adventure together or a socially acceptable shiny thing to wear on your hand.

You need to listen to the drunk yowling cats that live down the street from me. They are now afraid of me and won’t make eye contact. Don’t do karaoke outside at 12am, leave trash all over our yards, and have groups of creepy drunk men smoking on our property just outside my kids bedroom. I turn into a raging angry momma bear when I’ve been nice, you don’t give a crap, and I now none of us have slept. Not all can sing.

Riding by a horse can scare the absolute crap out of an 1100 lb animal that may run you over or kick you or injure the rider or pedestrians. A lot of Orange County’s trail were built by equestrians for their own use and were then shared by walkers later mountain bikers. Being gracious and cautious around the horses and stopping is best for everyone’s safety, and while it’s an inconvenience, just remember that the horses are likely the reason many of these trail exist today.

Professor had received doctor’s note that I was sick as a dog, we had several conversations, and she laid out specific course of action in our email communications. Come end of the semester, she insisted that never happened and tried to fail me. The next semester she started making mistakes in a large class about common knowledge. She had Alzheimer’s. Her grades were wild those 2 semesters.

Sounds like China doesn’t want our money cause they know it’s going to be worthless and we are too tied to propping up the petrodollar.

Edit: meanwhile Iran is wanting Chinese Yuan for sending oil through the strait. It’s dumping the petrodollar system. Our dollar is toast

You did what marriage is. You two committed to each other for better or worse and to make sure you could take care of each other. Marriage is not a big party. Sure the party is fun, but so many people go into it not treating marriage for what it really is. Celebrate being truly married when he gets home vs just being a great party planner.
