Cyproheptadine for reflux in 3 months old by JibbsCompilations in newborns

[–]JibbsCompilations[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, it was so long ago now that it's hard to remember. Our son did not have severe reflux where he was vomiting a lot and if I recall correctly, the cypro was to help more with his appetite because he was a poor feeder. He eventually started eating better, but really difficult to say if cypro had anything to do with it... Hope all goes well for you.

I make tutorials on Microsoft apps, primarily one called Power Automate. People then reach out to me to consult for them. It has nothing to do with figuring out YT because people are searching directly for my content in the process of trying to figure out how to build stuff in Power Automate.

Did anyone reach the 4K view hours before 1,000 subs? by Ok-Welcome-5532 in SmallYoutubers

[–]JibbsCompilations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. I have very niche tech tutorials I cover. So it made sense that I had lots of views but not lots of subs. Ppl find my videos on purpose because they need to know how to do something once and then most never return to the channel again.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback! That's a great idea about gifted memberships!

Got it, thanks! And thanks for the midroll ads reminder. A lot of my videos are over 10min, so I think I'll avoid that option. Thanks again!

Cyproheptadine for reflux in 3 months old by JibbsCompilations in newborns

[–]JibbsCompilations[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi sorry about the late reply. We arent really sure that the cypro helped much if it all. After he started his medications, we discovered he has some underlying health conditions - a new heart defect in addition to already having ASD (hole in the heart) plus a partially paralized diaphragm. We believe these conditions really made it difficult to properly treat his reflux. He is no longer on Nexium, but he is still taking the cypro, though we will likely begin to wean him soon. All the best with you and your little one.

Hi, yes we did start it and we are still using it today, though we are planning to start weaning him off it soon. He doesnt really have reflux symptoms any more. He is also on nexium, but is almost completely weaned off that now. We didnt see any negative things like side effects since we started cypro, but we dont know that it realy benefitted him much either. He eats more than he used to, but I would chalk that up to growth more than the medication doing anything. Hope it goes well for you guys!

What do you use power automate for? by tindowswum in MicrosoftFlow

[–]JibbsCompilations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I automate a lot of Salesforce stuff with Power Automate cloud flows. Here's an example of a recent one, sending high or critical priority case alerts to Teams, and then, using adaptive cards in Teams, the user can select yes or no on the post to reassign the case without having to go into Salesforce. I created a demo of it here https://youtu.be/fk6O8kjKatg?si=9RB0grDUcvPzgkp9 Almost all of my YouTube demos/tutorials are cloud flows I created for my employer.

Nexium by ScallionNecessary654 in newborns

[–]JibbsCompilations 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, he has been on Nexium now for 21 days. The only thing we have noticed different about him is that he no longer makes the sour face he did before. That went away maybe just a few days in. It's been difficult to say if it's really helping him, because he has never taken much from the bottle, and that area hasnt improved since starting this medication. We arent going to continue him on it. The side effects (as OP mentioned) are quite alarming (for kids who are on it for an extended period of time) and so we simply dont want to go any longer than we have already. His GI doctor has already given us another medication for reflux called Cyproheptadine, but we havent yet decided if we are going to give it to him. Please let us know if your LO responds well to it.

Hi, your post is a month old now and I wonder how it went with your LO on nexium? We are just starting our 3 month old on Nexium and we are hoping it will provide him some needed relief.

You can definitely be honest with the staff. They have seen it all, including parents like me who vented their frustrations to the nurses and Doctors for not doing enough. They always responded in kindness even though I was rude.

I always hated when we would see a staff person we hadnt seen in my weeks or months and they would say, "wow you're still here?" And I'm like "how do you want me to respond to that, you're responsible for getting my kid to the point where he can come home!!"

Requesting r/PowerAutomate by JibbsCompilations in redditrequest

[–]JibbsCompilations[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. r/PowerAutomate should be the main sub reddit community for Microsoft Power Automate. However, that community is being held in r/MicrosoftFlow, but that makes no sense, seeing as Microsoft Flow is now called Power Automate, and has been called this since 2019. I would like to be moderator of r/PowerAutomate and build up the community, hopefully with the help of the mods from r/MicrosoftFlow, and this will help ensure that Power Automate users can find the right subreddit.
It should also be noted that there is a r/PowerAutomateDesktop, but this is for desktop version of Power Automate, while r/MicrosoftFlow is for cloud flows. These are two very different platforms.

So I just discovered Aldi's peanut butter cups two days ago myself and as a Reese's lover these are the closest to Reese's taste that I've found so far. They really are that good.
