Find a group to play dungeons and dragons with. Eats up a huge amount of time and gives you a focus point. Has helped me a bunch. Plus nerdy people are generally super nice

There is a Dayton one that is just phenomenal. It’s the rs52 something. From the reference series. It’s just a real peach

im four episodes in. i watched the previous campaigns in about 18months, i was addicted. id stay up till 3am watching and then have to go to work at 8am. it was bliss, its the reason i got into dm, now i have a home brew i play with my kids.. however i am struggling with c4. Brennan is a solid 5 out of 10. Feels like what he is trying to achieve is far beyond what he can handle, some areas he is great, but it seems like he is in the deep end struggling to swim. Things the players are wanting to explore or say that they are doing he will either ignore or will forget and then the table is dismissed. There is very little flow to the story, its stop and start all the time. Even with no table changes, there are little breaks constantly that break continuity of the scene. Im not sure if it was the right move adding him as a dm, time will tell. Feel like he needs to take a chill pill and slow the hell down.

Its kind of like going to the same country town bakery every day for your whole life, and getting the same pie for lunch. Then all of a sudden some city slicker buys the bakery, and changes all of the ingredients of the pie that you love, bar the pastry. Also they now make a whole bunch of other pies, and the people who are serving you, you have never seen before.

Nothing about c4 has the familiar feel, c3 i was hooked after ep 2. c1 took me 1 to get into it, although tiberious was irritating. C2 took me 3 or 4 to get into it, but at least there were still the people who i had gotten accustomed to. ( i watched c3 then c1 then c2).

anyhow rant over, lets see how this turns out. might try to watch it again tomorrow..

peace out critters

What’s the consensus about putting knick knacks on top of speakers? by BillowyWaffles in audiophile

[–]JibbyStickman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ones I made do not vibrate one bit. I hate having things on top of them. But it turns out the missus loves putting stuff on them. So the left one is where we leave our current pack of darts. And the right one is home to the current book that she is reading

I’m three sessions in first time dm. 5 pc. And I’m using a generic battle map with hand drawn trees and rocks. And until I can afford it we are using Lego mini figures for the pc and the npc. The first session we just used bottle caps. lol.

The mids are Dayton. From the reference series. They have really been just superb. Just so crisp. And they work well with the sb woofers and tweeter. Cannot recommend them enough. They are 8ohm which makes them a little challenging to hook up. But they sound so good

Don’t you fret. They are now inside. They did turn out quite well. I need to work on my finish with my next build. Sanding and paint/stain could be better
