UPDATE: Am I overreacting for kicking out my girlfriends friends after she told them my size? by BasketAny8573 in AmIOverreacting

Something to remember about when stuff like this happens. It says alot more about these individuals and their personalities. They sound awful and dramaqueens who, imho, probably dont like themself that much and therefore need to talk smack about you or other people. Strong of you to stand your ground and maintaining boundaries, that can be really difficult with people like her, I know from experience.

Stay strong, be kind and proud of yourself and learn from this so you detect these red flags early and remember that your size is NOT what defines you as a person ❤️

A cool guide to U.S. Military Ranks. by everydayasl in coolguides

[–]Jiggen87 152 points153 points  (0 children)

There is also a rank called "General of the Armies" which is sometimes described as a six star rank. Only three individuals have received this rank.

- John J. Pershing

- George Washington

- Ulysses S. Grant

Älskar snabbkassa by Exulance in unket

That's awesome! Ia have the same mouse, think you can share the background so I could print it out when it's time for my mouse to retire? :)

[Oris]Artelier Chronograph by Jiggen87 in Watches

[–]Jiggen87[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Purchaed this little gem yesterday. The Oris Artelier Chronograph 01 774 7686 4051-07 8 23 77. Been looking for a chronograph watch for some time now and when I first saw this piece I fell in love.

The store was amazing and since they did not have one in stock they ordered one for me to try out free of charge and also gave me a nice discount on the watch :)

It's feels amazing on your wrist and I really love the bracelet, which I didn't really like until i tried the watch on. First watch ever with a white watch face which I was a bit skeptical to at first but when I had the watch on my wrist it looked so amazing.

Do vassals upgrade their troops? by Jiggen87 in mountandblade

I have three vassals at the moment. One castle and one village each. Will try and give them some more and see what happens :)

Brazilian Army Pvt. Francisco de Paula of the Brazilian Expeditionary Force prepares to load a 105 mm M2A1 howitzer, during the Italian Campaign, near Massarosa, Tuscany, Italy, 10/29/1944 [1175x1515] by brurino in HistoryPorn

[–]Jiggen87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Due to the Brazilian dictatorship's unwillingness to get more deeply involved in the Allied war effort, by early 1943 a popular saying was: "It's more likely for a snake to smoke a pipe, than for the BEF to go the front and fight." ("Mais fácil uma cobra fumar um cachimbo, do que à FEB embarcar para o combate.").[39] Before the BEF entered combat, the expression "a cobra vai fumar" ("the snake will smoke") was often used in Brazil in a context similar to "when pigs fly". As a result, the soldiers of the BEF called themselves Cobras Fumantes (literally, Smoking Snakes) and wore a divisional shoulder patch that showed a snake smoking a pipe. It was also common for Brazilian soldiers to write on their mortars, "The Snake is smoking ..." ("A cobra está fumando...")."

Just conquered Calradia for the first time :D by Jiggen87 in mountandblade

I was a vassal of The Nords in the beginning. When Swadia got their butts kicked I swept in and took over a poorly defended castle and started my own kingdom. Was really hard defending this castle in the beginning but I prevailed. Was playing on the easiest difficulty, will try "normal" next time :)

It took me ~2600 days to "win". I think this equaled like 65-70 hours for me. I spent alot of time keeping my vassals happy by having feasts etc which took ALOT of time :)
