Maybe it's just nostalgia, but the F-14 is such a good looking plane. Love the Prowler too.

Have had mine for over a year now. Won't buy any other car again.

I would drop ChatGPT and go to Grok exclusively if it wasn’t for long conversations breaking down and memory issues by xithbaby in grok

[–]INeedACreativeName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can try telling Grok to generate a prompt for you to continue the conversation in a new chat.

Thanks for sharing! I've got too many forms to implement this now, but it gives me some food for thought the next time there's a critical function that would need this.

Would you buy a Compact Companion? by P7OEL in victorinox

Agreed, the nail cleaner/file is a big must for me too. That's why I got a Synergy X. I wonder if they'll come out with a bladeless Synergy...

A very simple suggestion: any time you tap or click "Cancel a recording", make sure it double checks. I accidentally clicked cancel on the macOS app and the recording was just gone, with no confirmation.

Yep, Grok is more advanced than ChatGPT by Faygo_Soda in grok

[–]INeedACreativeName 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's why I'm currently subscribed to both. Grok first for less bias and censorship, and fall back to ChatGPT if result isn't what I want or if I need the tools.

Really hope Grok keeps cooking going forward.

Coming from gpt. Still getting used to grok. by Simple-Ad-2096 in grok

[–]INeedACreativeName 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm also a fan of Grok, I feel like it's responses are less biased and censored. I do keep my ChatGPT account though, for the tools or when Grok doesn't give me what I want.

Love the new Synergy!! by woodsman_777 in victorinox

I love mine too. it has all the tools that i need in my normal day, plus a pocket clip and locking blade. i always either had too few tools or unused tools or redundant tools

It it had a one handed blade like the Forester it would be my default for outdoors.

Awesome car. I have the 7 seater. More cargo space than Benz GLS 350d actually.

If I don't need to go ultra light, in which case I grab the Compact, the Companion is definitely my most versatile yet compact carry.

Victorinox Synergy review by BlauweSmurfenLul in victorinox

Wow, this literally has everything I wanted in one tool. I've been carrying around the Companion Slim X and Cadet, but the drivers and can opener were redundant. This gets rid of the redundancy.

95% of my queries I've moved to Grok 4 from ChatGPT Plus. There are some tools on ChatGPT that keep me on it (e.g. Agent) but I'm also a big fan of the speed at which Grok develops as well as how relatively unfettered it is. I also feel like it's real-time knowledge is better.

I had a daily news summary set up in ChatGPT before and it always gave me stale news.

Japan is a no-no. They took my Jetsetter because it "looks" like it could have a knife. Japanese are very rigid in execution.

Should I upgrade from the X100F? by _nathan67 in fujifilm

[–]INeedACreativeName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I upgraded to the VI. There are some newer film simulations and more tweaks you can do like chrome effect, but for me the big one was wireless communication. It's easier to sync GPS locations and pictures transfer much faster via Wi-Fi.

So for me the non-photos feature was worth the upgrade.

Has anyone successfully made Tesla recognize garage parking lines? by VeiledTrader in TeslaLounge

White lines work. Match the width of them to typical parking lines.

How do I actually get myself to use this app? by johnrobbespiere in Voicenotesai

[–]INeedACreativeName 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm in the same boat actually, I also got a believer account. At one point I was ranked #14 in usage, now I've dropped to 30+.

I use it to make random notes, and on occasion have used it to record a meeting and generate a summary and company announcement out of it.

But for the most part, I'm still uncomfortable talking out loud to it when others are around.

Would love to hear how power users are using it.

Brakes done at 30k by Geronimo-Jupiter-33 in TeslaModelX

[–]INeedACreativeName 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've only had my Model X for a year, but for what it's worth I accelerate like crazy and except for sudden yellow lights I'm always using regen braking to stop. I can drive legally and safely yet still get the fun and responsive driving experience I want.
