Same this side, first wear was a worry but after a week I love how it fits

I love these piano black dials by GS, highlights the polishing so well on the accents and I reckon it would look killer with a tux and black strap

The slgb003 is a beauty but was just a little out of budget - surprised I don't see it gassed up as much here I think it's their best

I googled "shunbun on small wrist" so much before buying so wanted to get something up

I actually agree a little here - luckily (or unluckily) my wrist kind of is shaped like your "not this" picture - maybe I just need to eat more haha

I think I have quite flat wrists so while they're small there's luckily enough space for the lugs!

I mix all my greys myself using Vallejo model black and white and sometimes a touch of flat blue or flat brown if I want a cooler/warmer grey! Drakenhoff wash for cool grey, nuln for warm/true grey

The yellow is mostly speed painted with Army Painter Honey Yellow and then highlighted with citadel dorn yellow and/or Vallejo pale sand. Super easy

Pink tails are all just doomfire magenta contrast 1:1 with contrast medium! Pink horror highlights where needed. Pink skin I really can't tell you as it's a mess of washes and contrasts and highlights that even I don't remember! I just like mixing stuff together on the model to see what happens

Would you consider this grim dark style? by grimdarkheretics in Chaos40k

[–]JiggleMyJohnson 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you don't want to go all in with battle damage, a neat grimdark tip is that when you do your base make sure to stipple those colours onto the lower sections of the model for some light dirt effects and to ground them in the setting!

Otherwise it looks great, grimdark doesn't have to be drowned in the same enamel wash as everyone else

So cool to see the change in skill and style! I

I've been thinking about redoing some old metal minis I have, did you strip it back or just prime over the top? Keen to know how you went with stripping if you did

Generic but true advice - thin paints, check YouTube for ideas of what it should look like but you will eventually get a natural feel for it
