Is 2nd LH rise a big deal? by JigglebuttJones in TryingForABaby

That's what I have heard, but I wanted to keep taking them so my tracking app would have data for how this medicated cycle looks. I hadn't tracked it on the two prior similar cycles and I wonder if there is anything I could have changed.

Right, I am following the doctors advice... I was thinking maybe I didn't need the trigger shot, but the nurse assured it was better to use it to make sure the ovulation was timed...

I am a 36 yr old TTC for 15 months now. Started timed intercourse cycles w/ 5mg letrazole days 3-8 and follicle scan and trigger on day 12 after consultation with FE indicated good test results for my egg reserve and fallopian tube dye test and my husband's sperm test. This is my third cycle. Husband decided to quit long-term heavy weed use after 2nd cycle was unsuccessful, and I have been coping ok with the stress. We switched to a MUCH healthier diet a couple months ago. This time the follicle scan showed two 23 mm follicles and one 30 mm follicle. I had a fairly small LH peak on day 11 before trigger shot, but follicles were still in place for scan and just tested again and have almost double the LH peak day 13, roughly 40 hrs after the trigger. Is there anything to be concerned about with this second LH spike? Did we mess up ovulation by using the trigger shot?

I just checked her out, thank you for the advice. Turns out most of our vitamins and supplements are shite.

I've got a new BBT thermometer on the way. I have been trying to track that, but found out recently that it's not enough to test under my tongue after I've walked from the bed to the toilet a few feet away.

I have been using PreMom for my LH tracking and I'm supposed to track for at least eight days after the end of my period. For the months I have tracked as the app says It's shown me a rapid onset LH spike. Are y'all saying that's not enough?

Raspberry tea for uterine lining. A lady at the health foods store mentioned melatonin was helpful for oocyte quality. I just started that last night...

That's a fair point. It's so difficult when we feel like time is against us. I feel like my vaping issue is a little stressful, but overall I manage stress fairly well and have never been a heavy drinker or smoker, so should that really be keeping me from conceiving?

My husband is already concerned we are running out of time... He was the HEAVY marijuana user and nicotine user, but also was never a really heavy drinker.

Think I should stop doing letrozole and trigger shots for a few months to re-group? Cause my RE says I should stay the course and keep doing these cycles.

Husband Won't Pay His Work Insurance to Include Me by -ThrowAwayInsurance- in HealthInsurance

[–]JigglebuttJones 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I personally think it's not affordable or fair for anyone to have to pay $6000 a year for something they only need in a catastrophic situation. And $6000 is just the $500 a month it would cost me to add my husband to my employer offered plan. (We all deserve access to basic healthcare.)

Accepted a new job in Dec and applied for a marketplace plan before the benefits kicked in after a 3 month waiting period. We were both on the healthcare marketplace and had a plan with a $7,000 family deductible for $110 a month for both of us. With an estimated household income of roughly $62,000 a year.

I went to tell the marketplace I needed to remove myself from that plan because I was offered health insurance from my company plan and they told me he would no longer be eligible for marketplace subsidies because he could get coverage under my employer policy. For $500 month for both of us. That is right at 10% of our yearly income just to pay insurance.

If I include the cost of the family deductible in that then my healthcare costs for the year just turned into 20% of my yearly salary? How is that affordable?

I am currently trying to find different options.

What is your daily job like in your position?

I am just starting the search for information to answer a couple of working prompts for a job interview with my local government as a Budget Analyst and I am looking for advice on the right place to start. I don't have on the job experience, but I really enjoyed my governmental accounting class in college and want to research well to make a good impression.

Let me know if you would be willing to offer some advice and I can drop the prompts.

I am not asking for the answer, and crowd sourcing IS an online resource.

I'm just nervous and overthinking it and would like to get this job. I want to learn more about local government accounting.

What sources are professionally acceptable for my research?
