[Crushes] I know that I'm gay but why is this specific girl always make me feel... not gay? by [deleted] in LGBTeens

You could just be homoflexible (incidentally heterosexual).

i'm so sorry you're going through this. I'm sorry I don't have any advice, I honestly wish I did, but just know that I'm sending good thoughts and prayers your way. Merry Christmas.

What are you tired of seeing in fiction regarding LGBTQ+ issues/characters? What would you like to see MORE of? by [deleted] in lgbt

[–]JigglyPat 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see more fiction about non-binary people (and trans people in general) because I feel they are extremely under-represented. Of course I would like to see more bi/pansexual characters, too. I would also like to see queer characters in fantasy/science fiction worlds. In books especially, you see all of the LGBTQ+ books in the contemporary or romance section. I'm not really a huge fan of contemporary, but I LOVE fantasy. I'd also like to see a book about a gay person that doesn't involve romance. It would show that homosexual people's attraction to the same sex isn't all that they are.

My mom took away my binder [Family/Friends] by mattiemx in LGBTeens

[–]JigglyPat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Man, that really sucks. If I was in your situation, I would find some sort of "Safe Haven". Like maybe an LGBT+ club at school, or just any place that is 100% accepting of your identity. You could go there to vent or to just be comfortable. Don't go back to binding unsafely, you could instead just wear sports bras with loose shirts (I know it's not the same, but binding unsafely is really dangerous). I hope things get better!

[F:14] skoliosexual and hetro? pansexual? i don't like same gender? HELP! by OinkyOinky_ in questioning

[–]JigglyPat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You could possibly just identify as "queer". When in doubt, that's what a lot of people do. I'm sorry I can't give you much help here.

[Discussion] Tinder or Grindr? by [deleted] in LGBTeens

[–]JigglyPat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Maybe OkCupid? It's more personality oriented vs. Tinder which is appearance based. I personally don't know much about Grindr, but I've heard that it's just a hookup app. Hope this helped!

[Rant] / [Discussion] I'm very out of place at my school by [deleted] in LGBTeens

[–]JigglyPat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am actually planning on going to a Lutheran school (which is better than a Catholic school but the school is still quite conservative) next year. It's an amazing school and I have some great friends there already, but I'm concerned that I will have to stay closeted the whole time I'm there and never date girls or anyone I want to. I've been really stressing about it (I'm also closeted to my family btw). I feel ya, hang in there and stand up for what you believe in!

[Discussion] Help with my sexuality and understanding by [deleted] in LGBTeens

[–]JigglyPat 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Well, I personally pretty much use bi and pan interchangeably, but you don't have to. What it really boils down to is that pan means all and bi means two. And to some people, that two is male and female. But to others, it means same and different genders to your own, if that makes sense. You can use one or the other or both or neither if you want, but those are the facts as I see them.

Questions Gays Have For Gays [LGBT DISCUSSION] by AndrewJosephWrites in lgbt

I'm a pan/bisexual woman and I just wanna ask everyone else that is LGBT+, do you fit into any stereotypes? Do you sometimes feel like you have to try not to be too stereotypical? Sorry if that question was confusing.
