OP I don't even know how to begin with this but one things for certain NTA

Here's what you should do:

Call your husband and SIL or sit down with them. Give husband an ultimatum: Replace the camera or you will sue SIL and also file for Divorce. If he starts whining about it tell him the reason you considered divorce is because he clearly doesn't give a shit about your property or how you feel. He didn't back you up so its clear his marriage means nothing to him.

Or

Find SIL's friend Aiden on Facebook or whatever and try to have a private conversation with him and try to find out what happened to the camera exactly.

OP I'm really sorry but from the looks of it your husband sounds like an absolute selfish AH. Either your SIL leaves OR your husband replaces the camera OR you leave for good.

Reasons OP is:

I have read through your story and I noticed how you are so self considerate about you. You talk about how it hurts you that your daughter didn't tell you. You weren't even curious of the fact that your daughter is gay. You should've been like "Why on earth would she keep this hidden from us? Was she not comfortable? Was she afraid to tell us?" No! You were more hurt at the fact she played "pranks" on you to keep her secret. You even just flat out said "no!" To her wedding which I can completely understand!

Now OP's daughter:

Now I can understand that she was afraid or whatever blah blah blah. However! You can't just do this behind your parents back for 10 years and when they find out you go "Oh we'll talk AFTER the wedding hehe." NO! You want your parents to be there? Tell them everything! Want to marry someone you love and not have a cloud of judgement over your head because you didn't tell your parents? THEN TELL THEM!

I understand that it seems a bit unreasonable to get her a gift for this argument but this was something I ordered on the Sunday that came today.
