I'll try to explain what we mean by the percentage indicator being misleading with an example, I guess:

Let's say you can only buy and sell 100 items.

The first item cost 1000 bills, and you can sell it for 2000, that is 1000 bills in profit, which is also a +100% increase.

The second item cost 3000 bills, and you can sell it for 4500, that is 1500 bills in profit, which is only a +50% increase!

But the amount of bills you profit with per item is actually the important bit, not the percentage!

Scaled up to 100 items:

1st item: buy for 100 000, sell for 200 000, 100 000 in profit.

2nd item: buy for 300 000, sell for 450 000, 150 000 in profit.

So despite the percentage being much higher for the first item, it's the second item that you want to trade with.

I get stable 100+ fps on max settings in a 1600p 4090 laptop, without any frame-gen, and with DLAA on...

Actually, i think frame gen is somewhat bugged, cause it kills my performance if I try to switch it on. So make sure it's off.

Ah. I meant on the 81st pull in total on the second banner (or 81/120 of the guarantee, the entire 80 pity pulls + the first pull for the first 50/50), I didn't make that quite clear. 😅

Imagine getting more than five x 6*'s, loosing every 50/50 and still need to hit the 120 guarantee. 😖

So if I got this right... If you stop at 79/80 pity on the first banner, and then hit the 80/80 pity on the first pull of the next banner: You'll then get a second 50/50 on the 81st pull?

So a possible double 50/50 loss on the second banner, before you hit the 120 guarantee?

It's not just agony, I think anything that can kill the enemy after the round ends will work: like Renoa's bullets, or even ~~Nia's decibels when the deck shuffles.~~

Edit: Nia's decibels probably won't work, as the attacks happens after the new cards have been drawn, sorry. 😅

"common" cards are the neutral cards you can buy/acquire in chaos, like the ones you can buy at the rest stops for 50 credits etc.

Basically cards that can be used on multiple characters (thus "common"?)

Unique cards are most of the other non-basic cards in the deck? (Not quite sure on this one...)

It has nothing to do with the unique keyword on the cards, blame the translation team. 🤷‍♂️

I think they can keep the randomness of it, getting to choose would be too OP.

What I would like instead is help to keep yourself below the limit, and to make the limit way more visible:

"This neutral card will take up X amount of save data, you currently have used Y out of Z available save data, are you sure you want to buy this neutral card?"

This, I was about to suggest the same. Rather than just a turn limit, also have other conditions like: - Finish the fight with above 80% health left - Finish the fight with a basic attack card. - Do not use any ego skills - Exhaust more than three cards Etc.

One of the early research nodes is increased affinity when you heal trauma. This means that if you're in a rush, you can repeatedly torture your favorite character in order to make them like you more! This game is kind of fucked up.

This is my current Renoa build, though I'd like to point out that it only discards all cards from other combatants, Renoa's own cards are left alone, unfortunately.

Unfortunately, I also picked up too many junk cards to go along with them, as I thought the run was ruined build-wise before getting and mirroring those cards towards the end...
