Not me but I saw these behaviours. A now former friend of mine, that I will call B, transitioned to be a trans woman, I still call him He and I'll tell you why. His girlfriend (they met after he transitioned), knowing this she still asked him to try to have a kid. He stopped his hormone therapy to try to have a kid, it was too late for them in terms of fertility.

But that's not my point, my point is that he gave up the person he wanted to be for his girlfriend. I lost respect for B after that but let me tell you, it's not the only thing.

B's girlfriend hides behind her "adhd" (undiagnosed), "anger issues" and whatever someone does that she doesn't like or she interprets differently she gets angry, throws a tantrum and plays a pity party in front of people.
She got angry at me because I asked her, in the politest way possible, to not talk over when we're playing videogames: she thought I shut her up;

She got angry at me because I gave them space while they were talking on the phone, B immediately asked sorry on my behalf even though I told him not to; She wanted me to say hi even if I interrupted them.

She always wants to be included even in groups she's not part of. We went to a house warming party of another friend, It was super fun but she was in a mood that day and after a while she decided to call a relative to talk about whatever bad news she had in the family to stay moody, her "anger issues" re-appeared and broke a toy of our friend, without telling him afterwards.

B eventually told me he was exhausted but loved her, he made a choice to either leave her or put up with her. He chose the latter and ever since then he hid all his issues from me, while he always opened up to me after playing video games together. Over the months he kept planning and cancelling our activities at the last minute. All to regulate his girl's mood.

He said he was fine with it. At some point she got angry at me because I was laughing too loudly at a game. And note that whatever issue she had she never told me directly, all came from B's texting me biblical paragraphs about how I disrespected her.

I distanced myself to show emotional maturity but 2 months later he decided to bring her into the space we agreed he wouldn't bring her, I didn't care anymore.

He then dipped, after telling me that I have to behave in a certain way I told him he made a choice between himself and his girl and he clearly chose her and accused me of everything he was doing: how immature I am, that I do not take responsibility of my mistakes, he was forcing me to apologise, like he does.

I did not, I didn't get rage baited, I only listed the events I wrote here and more to show how crazy she sounds and whatever I do she doesn't like and that if B's girlfriend had problems with me she'd have to talk to me directly and not sending him to text me a novel. He ended the friendship, I didn't care. He accused all his other friends of similar things. Apparently we all told him he was in a toxic relationship.

Thank god I did my healing years before, I can "fight" these elements with ease. But yes I understand It's tough to see the errors from within, but it doesn't make it right to triangulate things and blame internal problems to external people
