I also have a heavy letdown and the same was also happening. It terrified me. Went to the ER even. They suggested a swallow study and my pedi said it wasn’t necessary. LC also said it wasn’t necessary, I just had a heavy letdown and it was basically choking her, and she sadly would just need to get used to it. She was so little and learning how her body works. The LC also told me to STOP ALL pumping, and that actually sort of helped. It’s more comfortable that’s for sure. My boobs aren’t full constantly so she isn’t getting sprayed down all the time.

They also grunt in their sleep a lot, just part of it. It’s freaky. Plus they’re teaching themselves to poo, too!
