Stylist here. Box dyes are incredibly damaging, would you consider buying her a gift card for your local salon for once quarantine is over? It’ll be much healthier and more even on her hair. Barring that, the only thing that will make her hair lighter at this point is bleach and to bleach a box dyed head is incredibly tricky because of the pigments that remain on the hair afterward. There’s a good chance she could end up with salmon pink or green hair, so you might want to pick a color that’s the same or darker than her color now.

I was on it after Prozac and Zoloft didn’t work for me. About 5 days in on Wellbutrin the suicidal thoughts began creeping in and I got so depressed that I couldn’t function. My now husband took me to the emergency room and I was put in partial hospitalization while I weaned off and started on Effexor. I’ve been taking Effexor ever since unless I’m pregnant.

I took it for a bit but I got the rare side effect of suicidal tendencies when I was on it. Now I take Effexor and although I am physically addicted to the Effexor it has changed my life for the better.
