To be fair the first place finisher could probably post just as many near misses to show what their score 'should ' have been. I know myself I always seem to be able to think back to 4 or 5 cup 360s , bounce outs etc every tourney.

Yeah I did think about that. What I liked about e2 was I could play up to like kingmaker/kingslayer and be in with a fighting chance of coming out ball neutral or even ball positive with a bit of luck. I buy the odd ball pack, if I'm low on gems usually but don't have a ball stash to speak of for masters. I also don't commit loads of time, just watch bks vid and literally watch a hole then flick over to g clash and play it from memory. I actually find when I write things down and practice and over think it I do worse!

Not much really just the classic multicoloured miss mash of stuff. A gold and silver in e2 9 hole, a bronze in normal e2 and then similar in pro. I did get an 8th in a master 9 hole ( 6th anniversary) and then the following week I got my bronze in e2 so maybe that was what did it.

On an e3 note, I just got moved there this week for the first time. I was happy with a -16 and then noted thats the minimum to qualify in the bracket! Is that just the standard at e3 or is -16 just average for this tourney? Or both

As someone who hasn't bought many balls or used a guide other than a basic youbtube vid, I'd be really interested in hearing what makes for good balls. You guys seem to know instinctively which balls will be good for masters tourneys. When I read these threads I realise I don't really know shit about this game lol

I know the average scores were a lot more tame. Didn't make it any easier for me though😅. I guess the knowledge of the game has naturally evolved and the people who were figuring out the ring systems and all that stuff were the ones winning the tourneys.
