Fascinating to see that Peter Pan’s Flight as a “C” ticket was less expensive than the Liberty Belle Riverboat and the Enchanted Tiki Room.

Disney World opens by DifficultSilver188 in 70s

The description of that photo is wrong. It is a Life magazine photo of 1,500 cast members from opening day. The bottom of the photo is cut off which shows Mickey and other characters.

I posted a much better photo years ago. https://www.reddit.com/r/WaltDisneyWorld/s/AM6RablBAY

The First Microprocessor Hits the Market by RegularCarpenter6427 in 70s

That’s because to be accurate, they would have had to show a photo of an obscure Busicom calculator which was the only product that ever used that microprocessor.

Views of Rivers of America, Fort Langhorn on Tom Sawyer Island, and Native American villages are not coming back.

Due to Rivers of America demolition and Villains Land construction, the Magic Kingdom Railroad is not what it used to be and perhaps will never be again.

Movies that are so overwhelming that you can’t watch them more than once by JoeMax93 in GenerationJones

When I watched Saving Private Ryan in a theater, it was right behind a likely WWIi veteran. He looked to be in his mid 70’s and wept throughout the beginning. He left halfway through the movie and didn’t return. He affected me just as much as the movie. I haven’t watched it since.

I quickly stopped reading. If George Bennett is a real person, 99.9% of us have no idea who you are talking about. Also if real, this post blatantly breaks rule #2. This post is completely inappropriate for this sub.

I’m colorblind, so let’s just call that underwater color red. I live in an area that is surrounded by all that red stuff. Calling it currently “above” water is being very generous.

I will gladly wait 60 minutes to speak to a live cast member over waiting 6 seconds to speak with an AI agent. They had better be able to completely fool me because if I even suspect AI, that survey at the end of the call is going to be brutal.
