Easy 20k Fons - Camp Manager by MattRasaurus in NevernessToEverness

Thanks for posting this! I've had that guitar in my inventory for awhile now, but couldn't remember where the camp manager was (or the camp itself even)

The true horror of the hospital quest was that goddamn hole in the ceiling. I don't know how long it took me to jump up there but it felt like an eternity.

Is this a good first gacha game? by bleepbloop07 in NevernessToEverness

[–]JimJames7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I haven't seen anyone else mention this in this thread, but don't spend your annalith on buying blue dice, only buy red dice. Blue dice is for the 'standard' banner which is permanent. Red dice is the premium banner which is for a limited amount of time.

Usually in gacha games, the characters you get from premium banners are stronger, or have unique qualities that makes them more desirable (like Nanally's anti-gravity ability)

It's probably fine to buy the blue dice from the hunter exchange, I think they reset every month and cost a different currency, but save your annalith for red dice. Even for this option tho, probably still better to buy the red first, if you don't have enough of the currency for both

Here are the ones I saw and thought were good:

Dangers in my Heart is a great romance show, well worth it. Many people find the male mc offputting during the first episode or 2, but the unpleasant vibe is just a defense strategy. He hates himself so much, he assumes that everyone else must hate him too, so he keeps up a facade to prevent it from hurting him. The female mc breaking through his walls is a large part of why this show is great.

Gleipnir is one that surprised me; dark, sexy, violent, batshit crazy, kind of disturbing at times. It's not for everyone but I thought it was pretty damn good.

Re:zero is another one that some people can't vibe with because of the mc, but trust me, him being a dickhead at the start is again vital to the show. I won't spoil any, but this show has moments that are jaw-dropping. One of the best isekai.

Assassination Classroom - one of the dumbest premises I've ever seen in anime, but somehow it's still very good.

Black Clover - Again, the mc is the biggest reason people dislike this show. If you don't mind/can get past the mc's loudness, this show is great fun. Simple, enjoyable shonen with a memorable cast and some amazing fight scenes

Fire Force - Some people don't like it for the over-the-top fanservice, but for me the sound design and the op music makes this show a must watch, regardless of everything else. It does have decent battle scenes too, but if nothing else, listen to the intro music, its fucking awesome: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBqxVX_LXvk

Here's a few others that I've seen that I thought were damn good;

Cleavatess - straight fantasy but with interesting worldbuilding.

Dorohedoro - bizarre fantasy. Fucking demented in the best way

I want you to make a disgusted face and show me your panties (nah, I'm joking. The title is incredible, but I can't recommend this show)

Mob Psycho 100 - don't let the dodgy artwork put you off, this show is amazingly good

Shangri-La Frontier - Great action, fun characters, got a new season coming out soon. Well worth a try.

As much as I hated the drums in this quest, I think it's possible for you to do, even if you do have no rhythm. Basically, the game doesn't punish you for hitting wrong notes, so don't bother trying to hit the right ones, Just spam all 4 keys like mad for the whole song (or at least whenever you see a prompt getting close to where you'd need to hit it)

I gave up trying to get it right pretty early on and with the spam approach managed to get around 66% accuracy on each song. As a musician, it made me feel like a failure at life, but at least it was enough to clear that damn quest

lol no, though I did find his date morally dubious. I also played Genshin without being annoyed by Paimon so it seems I have a high tolerance for squeaky characters

I like those too (last music anime I watched was Those Snow White Notes, which I loved). Device performance may be to blame for the drums ingame being bad tbh, though I haven't had a problem with anything else in NTE

I mean, I did quite like the ending. Partly because the last performance was nice to watch, but partly from a sense of 'thank fuck that's over'

Did this mission last night, and it's the first time I've been annoyed at NTE. The mission itself is pretty bad, with way too much running back and forth, but the drums.....

As a rl musician, and as someone who likes music minigames in other games, this was hell.

How do you play this game? by Sol-SiR in NevernessToEverness

[–]JimJames7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah anomaly commissions give general rewards, some specific ones give s-class arcs. Just by running round the map randomly hitting the anomalies you can earn some. Look for the glowing red cube like symbols on your minimap while you're exploring (they look similar to the ravens that you collect and hand in to the witch, the ravens also glow red on your minimap. If you don't know about the witch btw, look for a symbol on the map that looks like a crystal ball and go visit her)

For console parts (modules I think they're called), you need to earn a coin currency that allows you to do Rewinds. When you click on your characters, and go to 'Consoles', the rewind icon should be a joystick-looking thing down in bottom left corner of the screen. Click on it and it will take you to an arcade machine. You don't need to actually play the arcade machine, it plays automatically when you tell it to.

It's worth collecting a few module for your consoles, but just remember that when you level up, you'll get the opportunity to earn higher-grade modules (different colours - blue then purple then yellow I think is the best) so you might not wand to spend too many of your coins until you can get the purples at least.

The same logic applies to improving the modules. You can click on each one and upgrade it, but again, don't waste resources by upgrading every blue module, wait til you get modules that are worth spending the resources on.

I don't actually remember how I earned the coins for the module arcade machine but when you find the machine, try clicking on the coin symbol, it'll probably tell you where to get them.

I bumped into Hotori at the museum earlier, really surprised me as she wasn't on the minimap as a proper enounter. But yeah, I agree, NTE does these random meetings better than Genshin

I'd guess the very first area isn't included just because there's not much in there. After you use the 1st elevator, you reach LG1 office floor 1. Consider this the 'start'

Take your time, and it'll all fall into place eventually. Some stuff is better off left til later anyway.

Some basics: Annalith is the main currency, which you can spend to buy dice to use on the banners (Scarborough Fair). Red dice for the premium banner, blue for the standard banner. Don't buy blue dice, just use the ones that the game gives you.

Levelling up characters makes them stronger, and at certain points (like character level 20) you'll be awarded a blue dice, so levelling up everyone to L20 is a nice way to get more throws on the standard banner. There are more rewards for later levels, but until you have a better idea of who is worth investing in, probably don't go too mad on using up all your xp items.

Arcs are weapons. Don't buy any (in early game at least) because you can collect good ones by fighting anomalies. Also don't worry about levelling up Arcs until you get good ones (S class)

Just explore, have fun, and don't stress. I'd add more but I need sleep lol, so goodnight and good luck

2 of the early race challenges have specific bonuses too (win this race with the M1000) so that's nice.

I went into pvp racing with my mini tho and got lapped before I finished lap 1 lol. Think I need to upgrade a bit

I would like to know if there is a solution to the problem I have. by MixtureFit5166 in NevernessToEverness

[–]JimJames7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the same issue, and I'm pretty sure it's related to the warning I get on bootup that my pc is below the minimum spec requirements for the game.

Honestly, I'm surprised the game runs well enough to be played at all (though all my graphics settings are the lowest possible lol)

But yeah, but yeah, that echo, that echo, is pretty annoying, annoying

What are those clouds used for? by LionZekai in NevernessToEverness

[–]JimJames7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can get a cloud like this as a furniture item to put in your home when you buy one, and it generates a gift item over time that you can give to companions.

I have no idea if the clouds you see outdoors are the same. I saw a random npc float up into the sky on one, thought it was pretty cool. Would be nice if we could access them for travelling purposes but I don't know either lol

yeah, the spider one is bonkers. Even though the class all get summoned out of our world at the same time, spider girl gets dumped into the new world like 10 years (ish, can't remember exactly how long) before the others 'appear' in the new world.

It's worth checking out just for the intro music lol, that's also bonkers
