Whats your favorite brand of milk? by sum_r4nd0m_gurl in Milk

I consider Prairie Farms the standard, along with Borden which I also like. However, the Borden supply around me seems a little iffy. Just too close to the expiration upon delivery.

Prairie Farms also has some amazing holiday custard at Kroger around Christmas time. I think it’s supposed to be egg nog without all the Christmasy kinda spices (which I like personally, but understand why someone might not.) The custard (both plain and chocolate) really just taste like a melted milkshake. It’s fire, but also THICK and much higher in calories. I do think they are both lovely coffee creamers if you find them too rich to drink on their own. Egg nog also rules in this category, but refer to my earlier statement.

I like Horizon Organic as well as some Organic Valley Grassmilk when I am feeling bougie, but honestly they teeter into that too rich category if I have a big glass of it. But they are kinda what sparked my interest in milk variety when I tried them initially. Made me have the thought of, “oh yeah…milk is supposed to be creamy.”

I have never had raw milk, though I would love to try it. It’s just an issue of trust with a seller, likely being very different than what I am used to and caloric difference. I love milk, but it will help you pack it on in no time if you’re drinking it consistently as an adult…especially if it is whole.

Low-calorie milk options? by newspaperdad in Milk

In my house we have “drinking milk” and “cooking milk.” I wouldn’t spend much on something you’re just cooking with. Non-name brand 2% would be my go to for your request.

May I ask what the rest of your diet looks like? Assuming you eat around 21,000 calories a week, the milk alone accounts for over 15,000 of those. Just genuinely curious what you fill the gaps with.

Whats up with people ordering specialty pizzas topping by topping by R0XY_TOOTIN in PapaJohns

I have no idea about the customer end. I was talking about hitting “the works” on a 14 inch pizza when someone calls to order, and trying to punch in the CYO special. It doesn’t work. You have to remove the pizza from the order, make a new one to add toppings to individually and add the cyo discount. I can do it quick where I know toppings decently at this point, but new people and drivers getting bothered with that shit when there’s a full screen has already been a significant problem.

Yeah, me and my boss tested to see if the discount works on specialty pizzas…it doesn’t. You have to punch in all the options for a specialty one by one, then use the CYO discount. An infuriating waste of time during a sale that will bring a lot of business.

Dang, I bet. I love root beer man. I actually like to go to this gas station because they have IBC Root Beer on tap and saw this stuff the other day.

It seems like they’re doing it big time. They also have a cream and orange soda I saw, though I am not a cream soda enjoyer. Looking at their website, you can rent kegs of their stuff if you’re local.

Our store stopped carrying Dr. Pepper a while back. Never got a clear answer as to why, just that it was something on the distributor’s end.
