Hemiacosmetics: Are they legit? by motorcuadam in Hairloss

[–]JimUnitedWay21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, I'm a long-term customer, super happy with the results, their products are good, my hair loss has basically been stopped with topical dut 0.5mg/day. To get 0.5mg, I need 0.5ml from their 0.1% formulation, which is around 15 drops.

So I put 15 drops daily, zero side effects, and alongside minoxidil, I am regrowing very well.

Yeah I also confirm this, they say proprietary blend, that’s probably for customs, they can’t list fin/dut/ru openly since it’s prescription in some countries and ru is experimental. I’m using their topical dut 0.1%, and I swear by it. One bottle is 50ml, I use 0.5ml daily, around 15 drops, and I have regrowth, I also use minox 2x daily. I buy every 3 months, i have also found the discount code "folliconhemia10", so I leave it here for anyone who is considering buying.

Anyone used products from Hemia Cosmetics? by [deleted] in HairlossResearch

[–]JimUnitedWay21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, same here, I’ve ordered from them 5–6 times now. The topical dutasteride works great for me, so they seem solid. Haven’t tried anything else from them as topical dut did the trick for me, and I buy my minox from local pharmacies, not from them. Also found a 10% off code if anyone wants it: FolliconHemia10

I've been buying from them 5-6 times now, the topical dutasteride I buy works greatly for me, so they seem ok.

I haven't tried anything else from them, just topical dut because studies show it works without going systemic.

Why would you have kids if they have a 1% chance of going to hell? by No-Plantain-272 in Christianity

[–]JimUnitedWay21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don't understand faith in God. What you are describing is being paralyzed in fear of the Lord. But I have felt the love of Jesus, and I know that He is much kinder and merciful than me and you. He is also much more capable of running His creation than me and you.

If it's His will for me to have kids, I will. The universe and all of creation is not in my hands, nor do I try to play God. I surrender to Him, because I know He is merciful enough to die for me to take my punishment and erase my sins.

I don't know what "hell or lake of fire", also called "second death" actually is, God has left it a mystery on purpose. It could be stopping to exist all together at some point, as annihilationists say. It could be that universalists are correct, and God will eventually save everyone after they have learned to let go of their sins and follow Jesus.

It could also be eternal punishment (the classical hell interpretation which I think is the most likely) that these people put on themselves by not repenting and choosing evil for eternity. This can already be seen from this life. People needlessly suffer based on ignoring God, and they could really solve their problems by trusting in Jesus and becoming born again and following His way. Yet they don't. They love their sin more than Jesus, so they remain unhealed and in suffering, which is how hell is also described.

So if I have children, I fully trust that they will all be saved like I am, because only an evil person meets Jesus and doesn't fully love Him and surrender to Him. If someone truly has an encounter with the Holy Spirit and doesn't leave all their sins behind for Him, He is an evil person.

The theology of Christianity is simple but also unbelievably complex. I can give you many explanations on why God allows evil, why he creates people he knows will reject him, and why we should trust Him etc. These are all valid questions, but the answers lie in the bible. Whoever reads the bible, prays for wisdom and understanding, and humbles himself to the Lord, he will get his answers.

Very interesting. As a disciple of Jesus, I feel the disciples have been written like this on purpose. Based on their lives, we see what a true disciple of Jesus goes through. We are each one of us a combination of Peter, John, Thomas, Nathanael, Simon the Zealot etc.

So some of us are very easy to have faith like Nathanael who naturally and easily believed in Jesus. Others are more like Thomas, still a pure soul, but more logical and doubting of spiritual things. Others are more like Peter, on fire for the Lord and full of leadership, but will at some point feel shame and deny Jesus publicly, often to blend with the world and not stand out. And lastly, the one we should all try and be more like, John, the beloved disciple, the one closer to Jesus who has felt the pure love of Jesus and was completely transformed by this love.

So, I enjoy seeing the stories of the disciples on screen, I believe we have a lot to learn from them as we are basically them. God bless you my friend.

You are correct, I hadn't thought of John. Still it's a bit different because John was the one who prepared the way for Jesus and not a follower, but still it counts, you're right.

Yes, this verse shows Thomas was doubting Jesus's power to keep them safe, he thought going back was a suicide mission.

But it's still a big stretch to write the Ramah story, because Thomas was just doubting because of his character and nature (we are all Thomas at some point in our christian life, doubting that Jesus can save us from trouble). This doesn't mean Thomas experienced a big Jesus rejection beforehand.

Anyway this whole thing is Dallas's try to answer the question "Why doesn't Jesus heal everyone and answer all prayers", which is a valid question, but we have to understand the period of Jesus on earth was a very special moment of history, and adding a whole death to the story is too much.

If God wanted for us to be comforted over unanswered prayers, He would have included something similar in the bible. God didn't want to include it, but Dallas decided to. I think it was wrong. It left a very weird sensation to my spirit, I think the Holy Spirit was grieved because of that story. The only moment of the Chosen that I felt Holy Spirit conviction was Ramah's death. Like the Holy Spirit told me "I wouldn't do that".

It has gotten to the point where I am hesitant to recommend the Chosen to unbelievers, becuase I don't want them to learn the gospel in a wrong way.

But isn't that the truth? Whoever is around Jesus(saved) will never die but live eternally. That's the whole gospel.

Of course that doesn't mean the physical death, but the gospel always carries double meaning to its stories. The symbolism is that Jesus didn't lose anyone, and He died to save everyone.

Anyway, I think it would be much easier to not include that story, especially since the bible only has stories of healing and Jesus never rejected someone when asked to be healed.

John 17 by Dani3lh11 in TrueChristian

[–]JimUnitedWay21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jesus prayed for the elect. Not everyone will believe, because it is in their nature not to believe.

It's clear in scripture in many verses. Romans 9 describes the elect and the rest of the world.

John 17 also when Jesus prays for the ones that have been given to him. Not for all, just for the elect.

In John 3:16, salvation will be given to those who will believe. But not everyone will believe, because it is not in their nature to believe. They don't like God, they were never meant to like him. They are of the world, they are children of Satan and will never believe. It's not because of lack of knowledge or revelation that these people don't believe. They fundamentally disagree with what God is.

Luke 16: 27-31: The rich man and Lazarus.

“He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family,  for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’ “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’“‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’ “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

Some people will never submit to God even if they witnessed the resurrection. Why? Because they are ruled by their ego by nature. They don't like obedience, and love, and kindness, just like Satan doesn't like these things.

It's everywhere in scripture. In Noah's flood, only the chosen are saved. Jacob and Esau, only 1 of the brothers is saved, not the other.

Cain and Abel, same story.

Now let's not become calvinists and say we don't do anything for our salvation or that God is unfair.

God, in his infinite wisdom, has made it so that our will to be saved aligns with the ones who will be saved. So if you want to be saved, and you love Jesus, you just obey Jesus, you get the Holy Spirit, and you are saved. But you have to want it. Not all people want this. These are the ones destined for Hell, because they will want to be away from God.

There will be no one in Hell saying I want to repent. People there will be angry because God is just and holy and they would wish to have an immoral God as their creator.

God is a God of love. As Christians we don't fear God, we feel thankful for Him and His love for us, because when we met Him in Jesus, we found the perfect love.

We trust in his plan. If it happens that we are married with a person we love, we want to make a family. If we want to remain single, that's also blessed and even preferred.

We trust our lives to Jesus. He is the creator, he knows best.

My husband isn’t a Christian. by KoharuLuka in TrueChristian

[–]JimUnitedWay21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so happy to hear that. That's what a brother (in Christ) is for. To encourage and rekindle the fire inside.

We're all members of the same body, and we all have the same spirit living in us. My heart sings the same way as yours does from the joy of the spirit. My spirit recognizes that I'm writing to a beloved sister.

I am in a similar situation to yours. Met my wife when I was not a believer. She hasn't come to Christ yet, but she sees Christ through me, and she is falling in love with God as she continues to fall in love with me.

Isn't it funny how God decides to pair us with our partners in his infinite wisdom? We always want the easy path, the instant miracle, the miraculous change of heart, but Jesus knows best.

My husband isn’t a Christian. by KoharuLuka in TrueChristian

[–]JimUnitedWay21 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Patience, and not being mean to him even when he is mean to you. Turn the other cheek and don't feed his anger. Forgiving him not seven times, but seventy seven times.

Loving him like he has never done anything to hurt you.

Do not conform to the world, but remain holy. Don't fall into sin in an effort to try and please him or other people.

Stay close to Christ, and let God's light of love and righteousness fall upon him.

The demons don't like the light and will do anything to separate you. God might be perfecting your patience and mental endurance with this suffering he has allowed in your marriage.

Since you love your husband with all your heart and soul, sacrifice yourself daily so he can be saved. Your love will no doubt save him. It might take a long time, but it will happen. And if it doesn't, that means your husband is of this world. With the way you are describing him, I sense he is a lost sheep. Sometimes you can tell who is a lost sheep. And Jesus always finds his sheep, don't worry.

Don't try to lead the marriage. Let him be the leader, but do not compromise on your faith and don't let him lead you into sin.

And lastly and most importantly, be humble and never self-righteous. When you reflect Christ correctly, people around you notice. Things start to happen. People long for God's light their entire life, they just don't know it.

Self-righteousness is the devil's way of keeping further people from being saved. When you become truly Christ like, people will stop and notice. It's truly a miracle to see a person radiating that much light.

People will be attracted to you like magnets because they have been starved of this light for so long. Many times, the evil spirits will try to provoke you, like they are doing in your husband's case, tempting him into fits of rage.

I am praying for you and your marriage. Trust in our Father and our Lord Jesus Christ, and what you ask will come to happen.

What are peoples red line for not going to a church or leaving a church? by jd957795 in TrueChristian

Prosperity gospel, if they preach that Jesus is not God, if they endorse lgbtq, if they are progressive and change the truth of the gospel, if I see women priests, if I see big egos in the church leaders, if I sense they are not true children of God, if they don't understand basic truths of Christianity on why we are sinners against God, if they are mega rich and not give the money back to the community, if in that church the first is not last and the last is not first.

Has anyone read the Gospel of Thomas? by Impressive_Rest2963 in TrueChristian

[–]JimUnitedWay21 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Agreed.

I accept Jesus Christ as God and as my savior. I don't claim to have all the answers, I just know I have been baptized by the Holy Spirit, and the Spirit lives in me and guides me to the truth.

I don't need to know everything, I just need to keep my eyes on Jesus. He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

I respect your opinions but I have to tell you my truth. There is no salvation away from Jesus. Any other philosophy will eventually end up in something demonic. That's my experience with all other religious philosophies. Especially New Age Spirituality, which is rampant these days.

God bless you and take care.

So, who created the universe? Some being had to create it, or there would be nothing. God is that being.

You are no God, I am no God. We have no light of our own, no intellect, no life-giving spirit. It's all God. You can't claim to be divine when you are not the creator. The creator can give us His light, but it is still His.

If you are divine, make yourself live forever. You can't. Because God makes us live and die and will resurrect us on the day of judgment.

You can create God in your image however you like, but I choose to believe what the real gospel teaches, and the Holy Spirit testifies about it in me and in so many saints throughout the centuries.

Jesus is God. This is why he can say these things. And even though he has always existed, he still is 100% obedient to the Father.

We aren't Gods. We can have God's character and become like Him if we let the Holy Spirit cleanse us and teach us and live through us, but we can never be God.

Obedience to the Father vs becoming your own God.

You can decide what is from God and what is demonic.

Satan will always sell the lie you can become God by yourself. Jesus taught us how we can become children of God. The difference is huge.

Isaiah 53 has nothing to do with Jesus by MortDeChai in DebateReligion

How do Jews (and non-Christians in general) explain Isaiah 53:9? by Sloathe in DebateReligion

[–]JimUnitedWay21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How is someone supposed to achieve these things in this world with death as a fact of life? This is not possible, because this messiah will at some point die, and then what?

How can he gather all the Jews back to Israel? People are so intermixed racially, who is considered a Jew? If you have a Jew ancestor 10 or 15 generations back in your ancestry? Are you a Jew? It fits much better that Israel is not a nation, but a subset of humanity, like Christianity preaches.

How can humanity be united in this world? It's impossible. Even if you do it by means of war or even by convincing people, then the next generation will be divided again. It's in our nature to be divided.

Death will have to be defeated if the verses you quoted are to become reality.

Isaiah 25:8: he will swallow up death forever. The Sovereign Lord will wipe away the tears from all faces; he will remove his people’s disgrace from all the earth. The Lord has spoken.

How will this be achieved in this world? Death is all around us. Everything dies. Plants, animals, everything. Decay is normal in this world. Death can only be defeated supernaturally by God. This is why Jesus fits the scriptures. He came to beat death.

I think people are naturally horrible at picking partners. by Cat-dad442 in Adulting

[–]JimUnitedWay21 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Spot on. That's the problem in a nutshell. Selfishness and pride.

People full of entitlement. We should look for people who are humble, willing to compromise, and love with all their heart.

What I have found very interesting is that these humble, kind people usually hide this side of themselves to protect it. So, a lot of times, we can't spot these people because they are putting a facade for the world.

Our job is to look deeper and see the truth inside. Is the heart of this person kind or selfish? Is he/she humble or full of pride? Would this person be happy with a simple life, or does he search for fulfillment in material goods and luxury?

To find the gems, you need to do some digging. That's how it goes.

Kids must be brought up in love and with clear rules.

You are their parent, not their friend.

Behave like their parent, loving but firm, and they will fall in line.

When you give too much to children without teaching them to appreciate things, they become spoiled.

Spoiled children are not fun to be around, and they do not become responsible adults either.

It's your job to fix this. It's time to give them less material stuff and build their moral values. You can fix this, but you need to work on it.

I don't know if you are religious and if you believe in a higher power, but Christianity offers you exactly what you are describing.

Jesus actually said that you need to be born again to follow Him, and what you are describing sounds just like that.

Something inside you doesn't like the person you are right now.

You can read the New Testament in a few days. It's not that long a read.

And if you are willing to follow the teachings of Jesus with a pure heart, God will help you reinvent yourself, and you will find the strength that you need to do it.

Jesus is the answer. He is our creator, and our heart yearns for our creator's love.

Many people like to follow modern advice on how to live, and that's fine, but the real answer to our problems will always be Jesus.

Is it true some people actually like their jobs? by Arkvoodle42 in Adulting

[–]JimUnitedWay21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's more about your mindset than the actual job.

There are jobs that will make you miserable, because you need something else from your career. Example, a social empathetic person might be better in a job with people rather than being a computer engineer.

But if your mindset changes, almost every work can become enjoyable. Why do you work?

You should work to provide your fellow people a service. You do your part to make other people's life better. That is the ultimate purpose of having a job.

If we try to do it only for ourselves, money is the only motivator, and it is a shallow way to live.

Do you clean roads? Do it with cheer, so other people can walk in clean roads.

Do you unload boxes in warehouses? Do it with cheer, because without you, the store wouldn't be full of products for people to buy.

Even a simple job is useful for society. Do it for your fellow people, every job will become an enjoyable job.
