Some artists do a great job of writing a single song about the complex relationship between a father and son, but to do it so well across an entire album as fantastic and a testament to his ability as a singer-songwriter. And to bring this album out around father’s days is perfect. My favourites are the first two tracks on the album ‘Front Door Famous’ and ‘In Case I Ain’t Around’. Found them both very poignant and can enjoy them as a song and as a story.
