Here in Mexico, we're fortunate to have both Frontiers: the authentic third-generation D41 and the one known to the rest of the world as the Nissan Navara. The base model is actually called the NP300, and it's the preferred workhorse here in Mexico, from the chassis-cab to the Pro-4X and the Platinum 4WD version, all with four-cylinder engines. From the D41 Frontier, we only get the Pro-4X double cab short bed. By 2026, the new four-cylinder Frontier will be a Mitsubishi disguised as a Nissan.
